I would think it's a pretty normal thing to do after a stressful day at work.

Following on from my post above, I'm thinking that I'm such a self absorbed person, forever believing that everything revolves around me.
After contacting someone (not an SAUK'er) it turns out that I hadn't done or said anything wrong and that they had gone quiet because they are greatly struggling with things in their own life. I feel so ashamed for always jumping to the wrong conclusion and making everything about me, me, me. Maybe I'm what people would term a narcissist

^ No, I think it's a very common thing that those of us with SA do because we're always worried that we've done or said something wrong. You're definitely not a narcissist!

I think we can be so afraid of having a negative effect on people that it's hard not to be somewhat self-absorbed. I feel like I have to be constantly vigilant about the possibility that I could make others feel bad, or cause problems for them, and if I give myself a break it feels like I'm being selfish. But then, like you, I beat myself up for thinking things are about me when they're not. Can't win

Hi Consolida, you are one of the nicest people I have met, I experience similar SA symptoms where I think I upset people or say something wrong then I get so embarrassed I act even worse I think it’s a common SA thing.

Nothing weird about that I've been playing that since about 2009! when it was brand new.

Currently she is sporting a harlequin look - right side = all black whiskers and left side = all white whiskers.

Sometimes she's all black whiskers and one single white whisker

I think it's better to ask why someone is anxious rather than tell them to relax. I'm told to relax a lot but I am starting to think that my anxiety is a symptom of my undiagnosed autism due to feeling socially blind. So I can't really just relax.

^ People always tell me to relax it makes me more anxious and self conscious, they shouldn’t say anything to people, in my experience if other people find you anxious they think that there’s something wrong with you so they either avoid you or take the fun out of you it isn’t right.
