^ Dentist said tooth has to come out and sent me to get x rays. Spoke to them today and receptionist said dentist would put referral in for it on Monday, then 12-18 week wait for treatment.

Don't know for sure that it's infected but I suspect it is. Receptionist said dentist would write me a prescription for antibiotics, without seeing me by the sounds of it?! What did it feel like when yours was infected Dougella? Gum and general area is aching, back/side of mouth hurts, swollen lymph gland on that side and hurts to move tongue to back of mouth. Not sure if just me being paranoid!

Don't think there's room in my mouth for the tooth to come through probably.

^ Ah, hmm I guess it might be quite a common thing for wisdom teeth to get infected so maybe the dentist would prescribe antibiotics without seeing you. But if they don't definitely go back and get it checked again.

I just remember lots of pain in my general tooth/face area, so much in fact that I would have been quite happy for them to just take the tooth out right then lol. But the antibiotics sorted it out. They also gave me a smaller toothbrush thing to brush really carefully around the tooth so that it didn't get infected again while it was growing through.

I do miss how this place, and forums generally, used to be. I know there's facebook, twitter and so on now, but they aren't the same are they. They're much more disjointed and brief...not to mention other things. Forums used to be quite a good place to ponder and share thoughts , often with people you'd have little in common with and little chance to talk to usually. Shame.

I've got my window open and all I can hear is drip, drip, drip, drip, drip. Now in wondering if it's because my window is open or its dripping off something else. Maybe I should shut it but I like having it open, it's really quiet and peaceful.

This tooth is really annoying. Can't get a dentist appointment until Wednesday, three days before going on holiday :/ Bet if I went private could see someone sooner x.x

^ It's a pity you can't rig up some form of automated gun to shoot the dirty ****ers when they tip it, then the rubbish and the bodies could be disposed of together thus saving room in our over crowded cemeteries.

It is private land with a missing landlord so although they clear it every now and then the council do not have to.

I think about fly tippers a lot, I'm always seeing stuff left on the pavement on the way to work.

I agree with D1662, execution is the way forward. We should start a petition
