My stomach seems to have fallen out with fruit for some reason. I've stopped eating apples because it brings on slilght discomfort and nausea (every bloody time) where i've never had an issue with them previously. I've just had a handful of blueberries and had a reaction, though nothing quite so bad to put me off. Again, never had an issue with them before. I tried pears as a substitute for apples, which weren't too bad, slight reaction. I've had the same problems with bananas for years and stopped eating those, but the reaction was never consistent - sometimes i was fine and sometimes not. It doesn't seem to effect me when i drink fruit juice, so maybe that's the way to go.

^ oh no. Food intolerances are upsetting when you used to be able to enjoy it. The only fruit I can't eat is mango. It makes my throat feel like it's turned to carpet!

I'm actually borderline livid which is unlike me.

I'd been saving up my boots advantage card points for yeaaaaaars and think I got around £50 on them. I logged onto my online account thinking I'm going to get a nice perfume and my balance was zero pounds and aero pence. I emailed to see whass going on and the lady said that if you don't use your advantage card for a year you lose the points. I hadn't realised that I hadn't used my card for a year or that you lose the points. She said she can't reactivate them. Did I get an email about it? I have no idea. I don't remember seeing one. I normally get stuff in the post from Boots.

And when I say borderline livid I mean I could let out a mild huff. An actual huff. HOL. Huff out loud.

^^^ Ha, mangoes! That wouldn't disappoint me too much because they're fairly messy. I also prefer fruits you can be mobile with, such as walking or driving whilst chomping. I do miss apples for that.

Re: card points. I was so disappointed when i checked how many points i had on one of mine. I shop there so often i thought i'd racked up quite a bit. Turns out it amounted to about £2.50 .. !

people that drag you kicking and screaming into the picture-perfect instagram age. I'm a lover of a good picture, but not of a staged ideological reality.

Unreliable trades folk

Mobile mechanic was supposed to come 'over the weekend' contacted him Saturday to try and get conformation of when exactly over the weekend? His response - I thought we said Tuesday afternoon? Er no over the weekend (email trail to prove it). So I agreed to Tuesday afternoon, he then asked for my car reg (which I had already emailed to him last Wed ). So stayed in this afternoon and no mechanic. I had a gut feeling tbh but I am peed off. I need my car for Friday as I am dog sitting over the weekend. No chance of getting someone before Friday I reckon. What an a hole.
Why not just be upfront and say sorry I can't/I'm too busy etc... instead of stringing me along for a week.

My housemate, EVERY 10 minutes he goes to the door and has a fag.
God knows if he actually finds time to sit down.

When the yummy mummy brigade make you public enemy number one.

I was in a park with my dog and a little girl was playing with a ball and she accidentally rolled it close to me and my dog. Now if she'd have gotten hold of it, my dog would have popped it like it's hot, so I put my foot out and booted it away (the ball not my dog) and it went further than I expected it would. But the mums thought I was just being mean and kicking the ball away .

^^
The proper preppie couples brigade are similar in that sense (yes, I made that up )

One couple had a distinctly average looking dog with them, walking on the beach,
The dog was really playful and energetic and was looking for someone to assist it in playing 'fetch'

The proper preppie couple were ignoring it,
It ran around me excitedly as I walked,..
So, I picked up a stick and threw it on ahead,
The dog loved the attention and a game to play and excitedly chased after the stick,
This enraged the couple who angrily shouted the dog back to them,
The dog bounces back to them, stick in mouth,
The owner's take out the stick and carefully examine it minutely, with great concern,
He looks over at me scowling and scolds the dog, shaking his head at the stick,
He then forbids the dog to touch the stick and walks on, leaving it behind,
He looks over shaking his head in my direction as if to show disgust at my behaviour,

WTF?

It was a bit like they were saying
"don't you DARE think you are good enough to interact with our dog" lol

Every summer for the last five years or so I end up searching the internet for a remix of Lana Del Rey's Summertime Sadness I used to love. And I can never find it. There are loads of them out there, but I've never found that one. It annoys me no end.

I've desperately been looking for a early nineties track for years, and a early naughts remake of Bob Marley's Jammin.

I always thought the "radio mix" one was the best, is it that? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLjTufjwJ5E

Nope! But I do really like that version!

Don't hate me @percy but I've actually just found it.

I went on my old laptop and fired up iTunes as I thought there was a chance I downloaded it and put it on there. I did. It's this one. It's not as good as I remember (I think I've been embellishing it in my head), but does fulfil my want for a more dancey version that I actually like...

People who are fake and time waste. I cant stand BS. I have friends who keep saying they will call me and then dont! Why bother?
And someone gave me their phone number on this forum and then didnt want to interact. I just wish people were more straight. I have deleted half my contacts recently because I dont think these arseholes are good for my mental health!

^ I'm struggling today. Breathing through my nose is becoming a hardship. I've been feeling dozy all day, spent most the afternoon laying about on the sofa, hard to concentrate on anything.

^25 mile cycle ride for me today followed by bbq in the garden luckily our house is a pollen free zone all windows kept shut so far.

Been taking vitamin c, actimel and quercetin and showering then putting on pollen free clothes when I come inside.

Feel OK now I'm inside but was really struggling a few times today with sneezing itchy eyes etc.
