Physical: 100 on Netflix. I thought it was going to be fun like Takeshi's Castle (a new version of which is apparently coming to Amazon soon!) since it's a large-scale elimination game involving physical challenges, but instead it's a weird celebration of body dysmorphia and machismo. It's very entertaining, but probably not in the way they were intending.

^ I kept thinking how weird it was that they were consistently saying stuff like "wow look at his body, it's amazing" every 5 minutes, even though they're all physical marvels for one reason or another. That can't be healthy and it was just strange.
Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

^ I know! It's like, if you went on holiday - who would you leave in charge of taking care of your cat. None of them. It would be better off alone

Roman - would get it taxidermied
Kendal - shave its belly and snort coke off its belly
Shiv - turn it into a pocket square for her blazer
Tom - give it to Greg
Greg - use it as a chamois to wash Tom's car
Connor and Willa - turn it into a rug

Colin from Accounts on iPlayer

I'd forgotten sitcoms can actually be funny. And this one is regularly hilarious. The Mum especially is killer - why can't I find any GIFs of her yet?

"Look at his thighs! Let's all touch his thighs."

Only one episode left now It kind of drags everything out at every possible opportunity and should have only been 40 minutes episodes, and I hate the Korean TV tradition of replaying the same one second clip 3-4 times, but it has some great games (and eye candy) so I hope they're making another. It's probably better than the Squid Game real life thing that's coming out.

I do miss having physical hard copies of things. When you part with your cash, it actually makes you feel like you’ve traded your money in wisely. I could still buy them of course but the flip side is more household space. I’m looking forward to the new spin off. I hope it doesn’t fall flat.

I much prefer physical hard copies of things rather than digital. It's been a little unnerving buying online or downloadable combatives videos when i much prefer DVDs.

Gradually rewatching all episodes of House. Although it's taking me a while, as sitting still in front of the TV for more than 10 minutes is a challenge!

I'm glad Glow Up is back, but these are probably the worst contestants the show has ever seen.

Yes, the replaying a 1 second clip multiple times was stupid, I didn't realise it was a Korean thing. The games captivated me (I'd love to have a go at some). What I'd like to see is a European version of Physical 100, an American version, South American version, etc etc, and the winners plus top 10-15 contestants from each region go into a global version of the contest to see who really is the best.

^ I like that show too. I got the question with "post" as the answer right! I think I might be an actual genius.

I've been watching Chernobyl once again - not great, not terrible. But nah, I jest, it's superb.

Arrow R.e: TV programs you're watching?

P.O.W

An outstanding 6 part TV series from 2003, one for the keep bag.

Set in a German POW camp for British prisoners. Based on some true stories of real life POWs. At times quite grim, very powerful and beautifully made. I very strongly recommend this series.

Yeah, you could just see in his eyes that he was going for gold - which was silly when he could have walked away with a good amount!

^ I don't have the app, I'll have to download it in time for next week. I like how the questions are reminiscent of the verbal reasoning sorts of problems you have to complete before secondary school.

Yeah, he looked proper gutted with the result!
