My first post
Hi i am glad to join this forum, and looking forward to constructive discussion related to social anxiety and everything
My basic bio: i know all there is to know about social anxiety, shyness and depression and i never stop learning new things specially from a cbt perspective. Psychology, Philosophy, Physics and Maths are my favorite topics. I keep an eye on all the fundamental doctrines of these subjects. I prioritize idea over person, i don't follow blindly. It doesnt matter to me who said it but what is being said, if the idea is solid i subscribe it. I am also a member of the SAI community forum founded by Dr Richards, if you want to know more about it ask me. I thank the SAUK group and Hello to all of you!  best of luck!!

Yesterday while i was sitting in my office looking out the window pondering on nature, i had this sudden idea and i composed a poem about the universal social anxiety and all the problems of life, i have dedicated this poem to all the people around the world who are faced with vicious challenges such as social anxiety and depression, i hope you guys will like it, her it is, it called SHE IS MY LOVE, She loves me deadly Shes latched on to me She is very Jealous Her ego is merciless...ruthless....colossal....gigantic...... ...........GARGANTUAN Shes creative with no parallel She will outsmart everyone Shes got a patent on me She watches me 24/7 She is omnipresent She is bold She is first in the race of survival….shes the fittest She destroys everything in her way She cant stand me talking to anyone She wants my undivided attention 24/7........she just TAKES what she wants and no one can give anything to her…….. she is ruthlessly influential She is immortal.....she is invincible....God she is hot.... She is focused....dedicated.....nothing can escape her grasp She is highly motivated....she never feels depressed nor does she feel any stress She stands up every time she falls......she is stronger than titanium... she is stronger than adamantium She is precious than diamond, a lucky few are her favorite..........(some 7%) that is her inner circle......her society is secret.....her weapons are sharp.... her tools twisted.....she is unpredictable She never misses, a fatal blow is her only blow.... she is prior to any predator.... she is posterior to any futurist.... she is not inside history....she makes history She is everywhere.....shes in the caves....shes in the apartments... from farmhouses to basements to penthouses..... Shes not backward...shes not modern...she encompasses all times. She picks a fight with any one....... heroes rise and fall.... empires see their glory and gutter.... but this bitch stands for ever...... neither Hitler...nor Stalin..nor Mao....she just gave them a chance... that's her grace No one understands her....she is intimate with everyone No ones fit for her.....shes very precise..... No matter what the hell...she is my love...i am she and she is me.... we are each other.. shes with me...i stand or fall....sick or healthy......strong or weak..... rich or broke......she is by my side.........she is with me when i am deserted....she is with me when i am deprived....she is with me when i am defeated...she is with me when i am defected....she is with me when i am rejected.....she is with me when i am boycotted....she is with me....covertly and overtly......hidden and manifest....first or last....dirt or hurt.....veg or non veg......believer or infidel......light or dark..........she is my love She is in the space and the cyberspace.... she is in the atmosphere and the blogosphere..... she is in the wind...cool breeze...hot sun.....dark rain.... ..........she is my love The atmosphere.....the stratosphere... the ionosphere....are all hers The east and the west...are hers and so are are the north and the south.... she is cute..shes smart...shes....delicate...shes a princess... her dreams are high.....she knows no limits....her hobbies are unique... and her fun is drastic... she prefers quality over quantity...... strong over weak.... creative over stupid intelligent over dumb she is a perfectionist.... she does not take no for an answer....... she expects her orders to be executed...... her will materialized... and her plans succeed... All right...now listen to this..... i say enough.... stop....... wait.... listen..... the equation has to be reversed.... governments overthrown...... regimes changed....... and the balance of power shifted........ i am going to kill her... i have been watching her..... her strengths...weaknesses...her soft spots... she zeroed in on me i zeroed in on her.... i will surprise her.....cos she loves me...and i love her... she trusts my humanity i trust her pride....... my weapon is loaded....my blade sharp...... history will be written.....love will be defamed..... centuries will pass...our tales will be told...... the gruesome murder...the paradoxical betrayal...... the understanding.....the trust......all turned into a weapon. a sudden idea....just typed spontaneously.......a unique poem.............................by dwi21 ENJOY

Hi and welcome dwi 21. You just joined so that you could post that poem didn't you? And very welcome you are too.
I went to see a lady about some cbt treatment the other week and I really should have done some more homework. Now I know that cbt stands for other things beside cognitive behavioural therapy.

@oliverw i have joined, now i will establish camp here  . what is the point of a poem if you dont share it with the relevant audience. As far as my motive is concerned its purely academic, you will see...are you from the SAI forum?I dont know what you mean by that lady and other meanings of cbt, of course there are million meanings of cbt, one can have a new meaning of cbt everyday if he wants. anyway Thank you again

Thank you oliverw now we know each other better than yesterday, kidding is good makes the discourse smooth. Even friction is good it leads to evolution!!
I am not afraid of posting more, like i said i have come here to stay. I believe if there is a rational basis to an idea it must be shared no matter how far fetched it seems from outside, the only condition is it must be logically sound. I know most intelligent people will agree that most of the posts and threads on the web are just emotions and noise a very small portion of it is actually valid and useful. Expressing emotions is good everyone needs it from time to time. Prof. Noam Chomsky once said in an interview that the internet if full of all sort of crap, good and neutral information, one must have the criteria to judge otherwise he will drown in the ocean of information and wrongfully believe that he has become very knowledgeable. Its an amazing idea!
