That you can get a very interesting visual effect by placing a glass of water on top of a tablet or mobile phone screen then switching the room lights off,
(better late at night, so things are really dark)

Even better if you have something colourful happening on the tablet/phone screen too.

All these amazing colours are reflected through the water at the top of the glass,

I took some interesting pictures of it, but alas my camera isn't linked online anymore, so can't share them,

Needless to say, they are rather psychedelic,

^ You can do the same by pointing it at your TV and seeing if it responds.

It is unfair in the sense that people who are neurodivergent are very varied. You can make a case for it being unfair in general of course.

I'm a bit grumpy because I'm envious of successful neurodivergents of course. Why can't I be a successful one? I could have had my own life and self-esteem!

I was following a blogger (nowt to do with mental health, sexuality or anything else I've been banging on about) and she seems to be a very analytical tech person earning a fortune (I like the analytical thing) and she said she's just been diagnosed with ADHD. That does make me laugh that I was strangely drawn to her content (and it's not her looks, I don't fancy her or anything) but also envy.
Late response, you are right that it does depend on the job but then again neurodivergnt doesn't necessarily mean less capable. Might not fit into the team? Why can't there be more awareness of neurodiversity then? This reasoning could have applied to LGBTQ people and people from different cultures before we were more accepting that they may have different views when it came to certain things. For example, at my current job role, we have even served Muslim guests at a later time, during dining events, when it was Ramadan. I'm sure just like making a room wheelchair accessible, you can decrease the chances of burnout by using certain types of lights and room design. I think I am neurodivergent but don't take time off work. There are times on other jobs where I did have sleeping problems and headaches brought on by probably stress and anxiety but it wasn't plainly because of the job, it was more about how the work environment was managed.

But then how many % of employees would say they wouldn't hire a physically disabled person? I'm sure for some jobs it's hard to accommodate physically disabled people.

^I'm going to get disapproved for that. But I thought her acting was quite good for someone who is not an actor, and I enjoyed the sketch.
No I'm not a royalist, my spirit is quite 1789 on the topic. But I can't help but have warm feelings for a lovely elderly woman. I didn't care for the Jubilee but I was a bit sad when it was said that she decided to pull out of events because of her health.

Just googled 'what's the dangly thing at the back of the throat called' to find out it's the uvula. I've had a cough for the past few hours - nothing too bad, can't put my finger on why, but i was tasting a hint of blood just now so went and had a look in the mirror. Again, nothing to worry about but the uvula is looking veiny, red and slightly irritated. Perhaps a bit of dust has pissed it off.

^^ Sounds like you've got a bit of a sore throat starting maybe?

I never knew about the uvula, but it sounds funnily close to "vulva", so I will avoid saying it due to high chances of slip of the tongue

^^^ I've had a grey streak in my hair since my mid-20s. Probably work stress-related.

It's not surprising that stress and anxiety harm the body long-term. The brain's response to stress is to shut down long-term processes to give priority to those that most ensure short-term survival. How can you think about planning for the future when your life is supposedly in immediate danger? It just goes very wrong when you are in constant false anxiety - or like most people in the first world, so far away from actual immediate danger that your anxiety detectors start hunting for other things to worry about.

That the pancreas creates sodium bicarbonate (aka bicarbonate of soda). This is probably why sherbet fountains or refreshers help me when I get bloating due to pancreatic insufficiency.

I ate a mango and chucked the seed into the soil expecting nothing. But this popped up.

Tearing a bit of a leaf off and scrunching it up, the leaf smells as sweet as a packet of Haribo. T'was bursting with scent.
Must smell more leaves going forward.

What I didn't know until recently is that Genovese has green fingers

^^The other plants are looking nice too!

That's funny I was reading the other day this article about exotic plants doing well in the UK due to the abnormal hot weather.

Avocados grown in London!
