^ I can't even remember the last time I had bacon. I only ever used to eat if you could whack it on the table and it smashed into pieces. Crunchy.

The Masked Singer my guesses are:

It's the final of Happy Valley tonight. Bam!

Also love the masked singer. My guesses have been way off so far, except for knitting who I recognised the second she started singing.

I think Rhino is James Arthur

Fawn - Anne Hathaway (she may be too famous to do this though lol)

The rest I haven't the foggiest

I'm currently watching American horror story

The Happy Valley finale? It's only been running since 2014 and I haven't heard about it until now. The old folk were talking about it at the coffee morning yesterday. I can't remember the last time I watched the BBC.

I watched a documentary about the serial killer Patrick Mackay. Oddly I hadn't heard of him before yesterday.

Just read "DEVIL'S DISCIPLE Forgotten serial killer who butchered a priest with an axe and is UK’s longest serving prisoner could be freed"

The guy is a complete insane nutcase and a psychopath/sociopath. I hope they don't let him out.

That's the one I watched. No Fire TV Amazon is promoting a Prime documentary about his case, I'm not going to pay to watch it when there's plenty of free ones on other apps.

very poor ending to an otherwise excellent series,

personally, I think it could easily have done with an extra episode at least to tie up all the loose ends.

I guess they had all had enough and basically said " The End"

Yep, what a shame to make of hash of several pretty compelling storylines, with a rushed, half arsed The End.

^^ no problem, that she is.

^ yes, I agree. It was a bit like - let's randomly connect the blue dots on this woman's sofa. The pharmacist story ended without ending.

Apparently they filmed a few different endings.

I laughed so hard when she said, "he bit meh" during that tense moment.

I did think it was good though, regardless!

^ yeah, the more I think about how they ended the series the less I understand. The pharmacist story line just needed more time, it's literally like they couldn't be arsed to finish writing it.

The climatic scene with Tommy jarred with so much of the development that came before

But, still, a 5/10 finish to a 9/10 series.

The Last of Us. Pretty good so far. My opinion shouldn't really count for much as I'm a sucker for post-apocalyptic shows/movies.

Finished watching Archive 81. It was alright, bit creepy at times, and I enjoy old found footage and culty stuff. Though it was one of those shows where they keep piling mystery on top of mystery and don't end up making sense of any of it, and Netflix immediately cancelled it because of course they did, so following the plot was a bit of a waste of time.

I've started this too! I've never watched anything within this genre before in case I got bad dreams.

Malcolm in the Middle - this is still the shizz

Me as well, might be worth a thread? I'll have to find a 'method' of watching The Last of Us soon. I may start watching Jerico (2006) again because I think I saw it on a on demand app somewhere.

I decided that the current series of The Great Pottery Throw Down will be the last one I watch. I can't handle the weepy judge's crying anymore. I thought it could have been performative at first and tolerated it even though I found it annoying, but now it just makes me feel strange, like I'm watching someone's breakdown for entertainment. It feels like he should be in hospital, not judging a TV competition show. That and the soundtrack is annoying.

The Last of Us - this is brilliant, it's so well filmed, casted and acted. It's finally been done - the world's first decent adaptation from a video game.

Clarkson's Farm - I should probably be ashamed for liking this, and I am.

Watched ep 4 of The Last of Us and there were many reasons why I appreciated it, one of the being Ellie discovering a book of puns and dropping gems throughout the episode.

I watched the first five episodes of the new You and I don't think I'll continue with the next lot. It suddenly feels very different. It's turned from a psychopathic love story into a boring murder mystery. It doesn't feel right to have British actors acting so over the top like that either. Also, I find that woman in it quite annoying... I've seen her in maybe six things now and she's exactly the same character in everything (which is also how she seems when she's being interviewed as herself).

Also, how is he affording that flat in South Kensington? He was supposed to have no money, that'd probably be £10k a month.
