Moulting - not as a recommendation but as something to consider when choosing a pet!

Those things are certainly an aquired taste!

I wonder how many generations it took to eventually breed a bald cat

This is my new favourite thing that makes me feel better about my current most hated thing:

Investing in decent HiFi equipment.

The difference from bog standard to, even entry level, is quite stark - you will hear the music you love on a different, more intriguing level.

P G Wodehouse. Never read him much before, but have now seen the light and converted - joyful, warm, funny, uplifting and, my god, what a master of language. You won’t read better prose. But read him out loud until you have captured the voice. Once you do, it’s like gliding down river on a sunny morning. Apparently, he is one of the most popular writers in hospitals and prisons. I can see why.

I'd like to recommend the app "stop, breathe and think"
Its free and legit. The guided meditations are really simple and clean. Its also personalised to what emotions in particular youre feeling that day if you wish to fill that part in.
I've been put off guided meditations in the past as its always something cheesy/cliche speaking with one of those really annoying american accents going on about god knows what but i've found concentrating easier with this. I've started to make it part of my daily routine.

Heating up your plates before eating a take away, especially when you live a good ten or fifteen minute drive away from places.

Not that I'm eating a takeaway at 3am. These are just 3am thoughts.

^ I have the red curry paste from that brand, and it's quite good. I second this recommendation. I also recommend "vermont curry" for anyone who likes Japanese curry. Go ahead and grab the hottest flavor, because it really is not hot at all haha.

Dried plants are a great idea. Love how it looks!

This stuff is cosmic. My hair is really fine and straight, so it's difficult to find products that don't weigh it down or make it for all sticky. It's really good for my hair type.

This honeyed* carrot soup recipe: https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/honeyed-carrot-soup.

I've made it a couple of times with onions instead of leeks, slightly less honey and half a tsp of Lea and Perrins. It's lovely, low cost and barely any effort.

^^ I was thinking today that home made soup is underrated. If I ever mention soup for dinner it's met with "soup is not a meal"

It's a meal in my house.

Have you tried cauliflower soup? Courgette soup? Get in my mouth.
