Mum is so stupid.

a) She's using the oven to warm a sauce when we have a microwave.
b) She preheated the oven to warm food
c) She thinks it takes half an hour to heat the food in the oven

TL;DR
An hour of oven usage for something that takes a minute in the microwave.

It's so true that we are our own worst critics and would never judge others weaknesses and foibles so harshly. Most people (apart from bullies) will not care about another's imperfections as it's what makes us all human.

The other day I was talking to my dad about something and today my mum came out with a funny comment which related to it. It's clear that they've been talking, don't know why he had to tell my mum about it and she clearly landed him in it, she has a habit of doing this.

Why people continually ignore me and yet acknowledge everyone else. For example, I left a comment on a 'friend's' Facebook post, as did other people, and everyone receives a 'like' and/or a response accept for me. When this sort of thing happens once it's no big deal but when it keeps happening (not only on Facebook) I start to wonder what I've done to be so disliked. I really should hide away in a cave alone for the rest of my days

I read the other day that instagram are trialling a thing whereby the number of likes (or whatever the .. they are called on insta, I don't use it) are hidden. It'll just say "liked by John Smith and others" or similar. I reckon that's a really positive thing.

I'd be the fella that didn't even have John Smith liking his stuff so... :D

@ Biscuits - Talking of spilling food over yourself and plastic straws, the other day I dunked a paper straw into a bottle of coke and the whole thing fizzed up and went all over me and the table. My son seemed surprised that I didn't realise this could happen. I'll stick to being uncouth in future and glug the pop from the bottle

I applied for uni last week and have an offer but I'm now stressed asf, not knowing what to expect lol. Just hoping I don't bottle it and back out.

I am thinking my driving is really bad, borderline dangerous and I probably embarrassed myself in front of my sister and bro in law while I was driving them around. Now I am paranoid they are talking about me at home even though I know they are not like that and they have a toddler to focus on. Now I am thinking I must be very self important if I am always thinking people are talking about me or even give that much of a damn about me..
