Cars registered before 1 March 2001 (based on engine size)

Private/light goods (TC11)

Engine size (cc)

12 months rate

6 months rate

Not over 1549

£135.00

£74.25

Over 1549

£220.00

£121.00

and then the newer stuff 2001 onwards is co2 based

my stilo jtd 1.9 diesel is 135 per year.

if i didn't have to carry tools round in my car for work i'd by a new small car with free road tax can't see why any one who spends most of the time in the car on their own would consider buying a big car. one of those fiat 500 twin air things would do me.

The computer on it is way too complex too. Part went wrong a while back which was £450. More warnings are coming up again now.
Otherwise I love the car, I'd miss it
