Will you be glad to see the back of 2011?

I know we normally wait for the week after Xmas to do this one- but I'm so eager to see that back of it, I'm going to start it off now.

It has NOT been a good year.

Not especially, for me its been about an even mix of good and bad I think. I do wish I wasnt another year older though.

Some ups and downs, but overall a good year for me.

I made great progress with my SA, and made lots of new friends. In terms of social life, 2011 was by far the busiest year of my life.

My younger brother got married, and the wedding day was amazing.

My website became extremely successful (over 10 million hits).

Hope 2012 is even better!

It's been strange, like a dream. At the beginning of the year I lost all hope, got very depressed and went sort of quietly batshit crazy for a few months. I thought it would never end at the time. But things slowly became okay again, so slowly I didn't notice it happening, and it feels like life's been slotting into place for a while now, it's good. I'm excited about next year -I didn't think I would ever be excited about anything again back then.

I'm not glad to see the back of it. I think I learnt some important things. But i'm happy for time to keep on moving, i'd not choose to ever relive early 2011 over again, oh lord no.

No, it's been a pretty good year for me. Some lows but mostly highs and some really good things have happened.

Yeah, 2011 has been moderately gash overall. There have been some good bits, but overall moderately gash.

I've really enjoyed 2011, gained quite a bit of confidence and started to conquer some fears. I've met some lovely people and had plenty of fun. I'm actually quite optimistic for the future and hope next year brings me more of the same.

Yeah I think so, I need to start again as been in a rut for the last month or so at least so maybe the turn of the year will inspire me a little.
I've not achieved much this year, no proper job and interview anxiety seems to be getting worse and socialising hasn't been great either. Went to 2 sauk meets which were good but didn't follow them up, so no real friendships were formed. Haven't been on a proper date all year (thought I was going on one, turned out the girl had a boyfriend) and when I've tried internet dating I had a couple of dates semi-organised but never followed through with them which really scared me as it was an avenue I had success from in the past so it's like I've gone backwards if I can't even go on a date now. One fairly positive thing that came from that was that I joined City Socialising and went on about 10 meets in about a month or two and though nervous I enjoyed it and think I came across ok and felt my confidence rise during that time. Unfortunately I then had an avoident spell and haven't been to one in a while so need to sort that out. Had a couple of club nights out at the start of year but they seem a distant memory now, but my friend is moving in soon hopefully so maybe I can arrange a night out sometime with him.

Stopped playing football cos of an SA incident which is disapointing as it was something I really enjoyed but when my friend left I couldn't deal with having to talk to the other guys one week and haven't been back but I think the door is still open so will try to get in touch. Did join a cricket team and play a couple of matches though (including infront of about 300 people) and just this month I have re-joined a tennis league so that's something.

Also I've avoided going to the doctors all year (i think it was a year and half ago I stopped my counselling and meds) but I want to go back and try to sort something out again as I thought I could cope but realistically looking back over the year I haven't really. Also there is a support group starting here that I will hopefully be going to, so that is something positive to look forward to.

In the grand scheme of things I think 2011 has been a pretty succesful year for me. Had some good times, had some sad times, but made a lot of progress in beating the stuff that has been plaguing my life for a very long time.

I can for the first time in a long time honestly say I'm looking forward to the future, which is something a while ago I would never have believed.

So no I won't be glad to see the back of 2011, but I look forward to making further progress in 2012....well before the world ends and all that jazz!

Well, I achieved my main goal for 2011, even if it did take me most of the year.

I do want to see the back of it, though, if only because the remaining time is nearly all downtime (Christmas) and everything seems to shut down this time of year. Also, the weather is bloody awful. Looking forward to the opportunities 2012 will hopefully bring.

Not been the best of years for me. Although it has had a few bright patches here and there especially in the last few months so gives me hope for 2012. Need to make a few changes in life to get things going again.

Mixed year if I look at success mixed in with isolation, and that's only looking at the very vague picture. Even if things aren't as I'd like it's left a bit of reason to be optimistic for next year at least, which is not a feeling I've had going into the next year for awhile (usually more along lines not again).

Yup.... easily the crappiest year ever....that I can remember, next year has to be better, it has to be!! I can't do another year like this one.

Got to start and make the changes I always knew I needed to make. I have help now though so fingers crossed for a stronger me in 2012

2011 has been a superb year for me. So much in my life has improved over the course of this year, it really has been a triumph.

For me, 2010 was the first year since 2005 to be better than the one before it. 2005 was a great year, but every year after that was progressively worse until 2009, which was shit. But 2010 was significantly less shit, and 2011 was far better.

So roll on 2012. I'm looking forward to seeing this trend continue.

Haven't really done much good or bad this year. Can't really think "oh yay 2012" or anything. Yeah I'm hoping it's better than 2011 but, it's not gonna be unless I actually do something about it. Which is easier said than done.

This was probably my most chaotic year ever... so many things happened, especially since June. Some really bad and others really good. Overall I think 2011 was a great year and I feel that some of the biggest areas of my life are working out really well. I'm looking forward to 2012 and hope I can work on a few other areas too.

Yes, 2011 was a terrible year for my health... but also not so keen for 2012 as my problems have gotten worse again in the last 6 weeks.

Just need to keep my head up.

2011 has been a good year. I've been moved roles at work and promoted, though I still havent got the pay rise yet, but will in Jan. Had two holidays which were nice, still with girlfriend and took her to my parents house for a few days a couple of weeks ago.
