Re: Favourite flower
I hate those pale daffodils, so pointless. Bright or nothing please!

Re: Favourite flower
I do enjoy a daffodil. I also like roses that smell nice and lilies, the ones that are pink on the inside.

Re: Favourite flower
I forgot the name of daffodils the other day. I walked past some and was like, 'look at those... yellow tulips?'
I find lots of flowers quite gaudy, especially when there are multiple colours mixed together. Nature can be so tacky. Why don't more come in monochrome? My favourite is delicate, understated gypsophilia. It looks great dried too. |

Re: Favourite flower
I like the look of tulips. If you're including smell, probably roses.

Re: Favourite flower
I don't have a favourite as there are so many lovely flowers, but I love most of the heavily scented flowers that you'd find in a typical English cottage garden. Flowers such as lavender, honeysuckle, sweet-peas, phlox, snapdragons and roses. Everything that attracts the pollinators!

Re: Favourite flower
I like small, colourful, delicate flowers best, I don't know the names but the ones you get in random patches of wildflowers:
Also California poppies: |

Re: Favourite flower
Chrysanthemums, they are so versatile, but take a bit of knowledge to grow well.
