I've gone through the on-line process for switching bank accounts, and I didn't get frustrated and nearly smash my laptop to pieces once (didn't even come close to it).

Finished building my home gym in the garage, then had a workout. Might have over done it!

Gave my boss my notice after 18 months of working in a job that made me depressed every day. Now the personal growth can begin.

Went out this morning. Had to speak to a few people and didn't do to badly. Even made them laugh.

I think I need to move to a cold country. The freezing temperature stops me from going red and everyone else is shaking so it doesn't look odd that I am.

Survived my first bit of traffic congestion. I'm also getting more confident in parking.

Flew down a red run on my snowboard in the Alps and planning on meditating in the snow later on for a good half hour :-)

Went to my old sixth form to discuss getting references for an apprenticeship and generally to catch up. I only saw a couple of teachers but they were so nice about everything and it's really helped give me some more closure on me dropping out of uni. Very uplifting.

^ Great to hear, Sam. What apprenticeship is it you're going for?

It's the Civil Service Fast Track Apprenticeship. Unfortunately though I've read that it's quite a competitive apprenticeship.

^ Oh wow, I've heard about that. Sounds really good. You're clever one - I'm sure you've got way more than a decent shot at it.

Made something with salt dough at the mind place, passed away a couple of hours in warm friendly surroundings, and hands now smell of salt.

Made the effort to go to speak to people at work about work queries, rather than take the easy option of phoning or emailing them (even if I did end up nearly out of the door, by backing away, shrinking into the wall )

Still struggling with eye contact...managed to make it for about 5 seconds with someone and panicked. It's a start.

Early this morning a wallet was found on the bus, nobody seemed to be bothered and just left it there. At the next stop i grabbed it and gave it to the driver, hope the guy gets it back.
Got a pb in me race, also breaking age-graded and vo2 goals.
Painted me salt dough effort and got embarrassed with the compliments.

Today I used the phone very competently. I didn't even know it was coming, it was a surprise but I handled it no problem.

Had a short chat with another cyclist about the wind and didn't feel awkward once.

(Although afterwards I couldn't help but think it was a bit odd how many times she said the wind was really blowing her about as she's so light, I wasn't going to type this as I shouldn't try to find a negative in everything but I have now so )

Well I had an oesophageal spasm start to build while eating my tea but I managed to keep calm and breathe slowly and stop it happening, that's kind of an achievement.

Fixed a fence post.

My neighbour insisted on helping towards the end which would usually make me really self conscious but as I have fixed quite a few fence posts I felt fairly confident and it wasn't such an ordeal.

Doesn't stop my arms from aching though - the aching is so bad I doubt I will sleep much tonight.
