I didn't know/realise that.
I love bumble bees and will happily be around them. Honey bees I seem to irrationally and oddly think of as being somewhat more like wasps. So I'm all suspicious of them.

Guess as a kid I watched a certain dodgy Michael Caine killer bee movie one time to many...

Not sure what movie you're referring to, but yea, Michael Caine is quite convincing

"the swarm", its great in a bad way. Or bad in a great way.

Certainly made me scared of swarms of bees.

I rang up and renewed my car insurance !!

Now it is completed it is its own reward but I thought I would post because I am sure others have the same problem and may not realise many others do as well.

I got the renewal letter about a month ago so knew it was coming. I was all set to do it on friday but then [insert SA based lie/justification here]. Basically, I just moved other lower priority things forward until there was no time left, I got lots of washing done I emailed them but I don't leave my card details on file so it requires a phone call.

I failed to do it on saturday and sunday as well, and thinking about doing it before work probably contributed to my lack of sleep last night. So I drove in, technically uninsured, and it has taken me until 1:30pm to make that call. I am now insured retrospectively from this morning so an ANPR from then will now come up as insured.

I hated doing this, I am not law abiding by any means but when it comes to my car I really try to be. If the DVLA crushed my car I doubt you would see me again, in fact I would probably hide in the boot.

All insured for another year, and a full years tax sorted, hurrah !!

I went out shopping with my friends! and actually forgot that we were in public a few times!

I felt on edge walking by myself to meet my friend who lives nearby, so that we could walk into town together to meet our other friends. As soon as we met up, my SA seemed to lessen so much that I was a bit shocked. I can't remember feeling anxious all day after that which is something I can't get my head around. I'm wondering if I'm getting on top of my SA now? I felt ok going around shops, paying for things, ordering food, and walking at the 'front' of the group, when I normally follow at the back. It feels weird to even write this. I'm not used to this kind of thing Maybe it was a fluke, but I want to do it again!

^^ Thanks, yeah!

^ I know what you mean, I had to push myself a lot and still struggle if it's really busy. I kinda focus on them and it makes me forget myself a bit.

Crikey. I can't imagine them trying to sanction you (from reading your posts) you always seem to be trying so hard. Much harder than I would most likely.
Good for you, standing up to them.

^Well done Nat

I've yet to try 'drop in' and just go to a reading group. It's a bit more structured (and the same ppl every week) so I feel a bit more safe? I guess.

You sound like you did well to stay with a rollercoaster of emotions /anxieties and for 2 hours!
