^ Nicki minaj, embarrasing? I never would have guessed

I enjoy Great British Railway Journeys. Railways and history is a perfect mix for me lol. And I like Michael Portillo (and yes, i'm well aware he is an ex-tory with an admiration for Thatcher).

^ Portillo's politics are pretty appalling, but, gah, he's at times a pretty erudite guy isn't he.

Been watching that old cult favourite 15 stories high on netflix...which, yeah, is warm, kitchen sinky and artistically shot.

Been told to check out modern family next.

^ That's the Sean Lock comedy, right?

I've seen a few clips from that and it looks like something I would enjoy. Must try and watch a full episode one day.

Just watched the latest Africa ep (missed it earlier in the week). Top quality stuff as usual from Attenborough.

Oxfam and other scummy groups would rather have us believe that Africa is just a giant desert full of starving children, sadly (I wouldn't be surprised if some people didn't even realise that Africa contained anything else).

24 Season 4.

I've never seen 24 before and I'm currently on episode 20 on season 4. I'm not really liking Jack Bauer in this season. He seems to spend half his time torturing and killing people and he has just invaded the Chinese embassy killing someone and then forced a surgeon at gunpoint to operate on the guy meaning the guy that saved his life died. I think I'm meant to see him as the hero but instead I'm hoping the terrorists kill him. I'm sure millions of lives are saved but I don't think its acceptable behavior and hopefully he spends Season 5 locked up in prison or a mental institution.

Just started working my way though Seinfeld... Have seen the odd episode before but never properly sat down and watched it. 2 episodes down, 178 to go!

^ lucky you, you've got hours and hours of fun left.

Did anyone else watch The Following? I just watched the first ep, I'm in a phase of struggling to concentrate on anything but this did the job nicely. It's kinda like if Hannibal Lecter did social networking, can't wait for next week's already.

Just when I thought American Horror Story couldn't go any further with the level of things it can get away with on TV....

The son of bloody face needing 'mummying' and also bloody face learning to love women with Lana's 'ex' girlfriend.

Wow, just....great series, definitely upped the messed upness this season though. Hard to imagine how they'll top it next tbh. Though I think the first Season was the strongest, Season 2 did a feel a bit messy at times, like it didn't really know where it was going, still great TV though.

I was trying to work out how much time I'd spent watching telly last week and got a bit freaked out. My TV week goes something like this

Saturday

Repeat of A Touch of Frost -depending on whether I've seen it or not
Splash! (sorry)- the guilitest of all my many guilty pleasures. I've become mildly addicted to it now, as I think that it is completely bonkers, Tom Daley is quite sweet really in his own little way and I want to see Vernon go off that board even if I have to push him in myself!
Borgen- my intellectual viewing and a vain attempt to learn Danish.

Sunday
Frasier double bill -depending on what time I get up
Whatever Poirot's on at random point during the day
Countryfile- for the Countryfile forecast!

Monday
A Bonaza!!

Neighbours, Home and Away and Hollyoaks
University Challenge
Only Connect- only it's finished now, annoyingly
Miranda- something's not quite working this series, I think it's the fact that she and Gary aren't really friends any more.
Half of Embarrasing Fat Bodies
My Mad Fat Diary- I was a 90's teenager so I mainly watch it for what we used to call the choons

Tuesday
I go round my parents on a Tuesday so I tend to watch whatever they've got on

Wednesday
Soaps as before
Gok's Style Secrets- this week's was a bit close to home and I got quite emotional as it was a girl who'd never had a proper boyfriend and who believed she was ugly
Africa- for pretty pictures and things I've never seen before

Thursday
Soaps as before
Location, Location, Location
2 Broke Girls

Friday
Soaps as before
Room 101
Teen Mom- I don't like this lot of moms as much as the previous lot as their lives seem more chaotic
QI

In between this I will watch the news and a bit of Pointless at times depending on when I get home. I also do alot of plus one-ing in order to fit in going to the gym.

It's Monday's that I'm most embarrassed by...

I know I read that too, all we need is Zachary Quinto to be in season 3 some way and il be happy, hopefully no Adam Levine anywhere EVER.

Way to GO.

I only watched the first episode because I was dangerously bored but I'm quite pleased with it. It's meant to be 'edgy and dark', which it isn't really, and I imagine the BBC have snipped off all the rough edges which is a shame but it's good to see the BBC commissioning an interesting comedy, it's been a bloody long time.

The Last Leg. Think its a pretty good show and glad its back.

Locomotion. A fascinating history of railways, presented by Dan Snow. The last of the three-part series is on next week.
