All I can think about right now is all the things that could go wrong tomorrow
My counsellor suggested I keep a note of my anxious thoughts about my trip, I could've already filled a book by now and it's not even happened yet!

Really think I'm biting off more than I can chew, far too many unknowns and new things to deal with in a short space of time, I haven't been on a train for 14 years, last time I was in London was on a school trip ffs.

I know that statistically the chances of any of my negative thoughts coming true are tiny but my anxiety doesn't recognise statistics.

I'm thinking about how I need to start reading and revising for an exam on the 13th, but all I'm doing is watching YouTube videos and procrastinating.

Now I'm thinking about playing Dishonored 2 or watching Star Wars Rebels.

You can do it, D The anticipation is the worst part, you have all this worry and energy but you can't do anything with it. Once you're out there and getting on with things, you'll have stuff to focus on and it'll carry you through the day. After a while you won't even remember what you were so worked up about.

Why are rail strikes called industrial action?
Unindustrial inaction would be a better description for it.

Don't speak too soon. I just heard on the news Carrie Fishers film star mother Debbie Reynolds has been rushed to hospital as an emergency. :

Thank you all for your support
And yes the anticipation is worse than the actual doing.
If someone had told me at 9 o'clock this morning that I would get on a train, go to London, meet someone, go out for a meal and wander round Clapham after dark I would never have believed them.
What a day, just need to keep the momentum going for tomorrow.

Really happy for you, D I know exactly what you mean, at times you think 'WTF am I doing? This isn't me!' But it'll get easier and feel more normal the more you do it. I hope you've got some good times ahead of you.

^ Did you manage to do the rubik's cube? I haven't seen anything on the news yet about a crazed man going on a rampage bludgeoning people to death with a rubik's cube in a sock.

Thanks fellas
Today has been quite tough, a lot more anxiety than yesterday, beginning to think that reducing the dose of my sertraline a few days before this trip was a bad idea but I forgot to order them in time for Xmas so had to make them last, have none left for tomorrow
