Some people need a place where they can yell and scream into the void without being treated as weird for it. Just to try to get the built up anger and pain out of their system.
I'm thinking literally here, it could be a mental health facility.
Just go in and yell against all the insanity, and then put your fake normal happy face back on and walk out and nobody says anything. No judgement.

The biggest crime of society is pretending that everything is fine.

I don't know, it was 5:20 in the morning, just whatever was going through my brain. Don't pay much attention.

Through my whole experience of landing a new job and having some of the worst mental breakdowns I've ever experienced, I begun to think that I actually may have CPTSD.

If so, it seems to be triggered by the feeling of being "watched" and judged. When I feel like people are talking about me angrily and watching me, it freaks me out and triggers bad anxiety for me. Even still when I'm on medication I can feel it happen.

At first I thought with how my breakdowns were triggered that it may be PTSD, but I knew that it wasn't really lining up with how I know PTSD to be. I still had a nagging feeling that it could be something similar, so I looked it up and there's another form called CPTSD that I could possibly have?

Now, I haven't had especially bad traumatic experiences I can pinpoint, so I'm not really sure... But I've had a lot of history with childhood emotional abuse from my father (not physical thankfully), where he would scream at me for my odd behavior and greatly overreact about things. It generally makes me have avoidance issues too.

I've patched things up with him, but I think some emotional damage has been done to me. So now my next step with the NHS will be approaching therapy. My new GP directed me towards what to do, but I haven't taken the leap yet.

^ It sounds like you may have pinpointed some behaviour from your father there (which does sound like emotional abuse) that could well have led to you developing CPTSD. It's good to be able to work out what may be going on when we're having problems I hope you can take the steps to see a therapist soon. (Also nice to see you back!)

humans are social animals. The biggest form of madness is people distanced at home. With the right socialisation humans flourish. The wrong socialisation slightly counterproductive.

Is Tesla influenced by Ford. Model Y, Model S. It's reminiscent to early Ford model naming. Teslas actually remind me of Mondeo, I don't think they look the most attractive or luxury.

But I also think the 2020's luxury fad isn't about being luxury, I would say the 10's and 00's images of luxury were probably more based on luxuriousness. It's like 2020's image of luxury is more based on the amount of smart tech and sustainability a product can have. I'm sure it will change soon though.

Just wanted to say thanks for listening to my venting, and thanks for the advice too. I always appreciate it, and it's why I feel like this forum is so grounding for me. I'm gonna try to see if I can set up something for therapy. There was a man yelling in the store today and it honestly made my anxiety flare up (men yelling is another reason why I think I have C-PTSD - it's a huge trigger for me).

I agree. Society is stripping us of our communities. It's by design sadly. Embrace individualism and consumerism, force people to constantly work = less of a chance for people uprising.

do I bother applying to an agency that have rejected me about 10 times? By this stage its trauma. Apply, they make up some excuse how I'm not the right person. And all this with my own self doubts. Some companies really are (*&(*&

Soon everyone will have "do not quote" on their posts, and no-one will be able to respond to anyone else. The logical terminus of a social anxiety discussion board I suppose.

There are other ways to reply to someone without quoting, you could use arrows ^^ or @ them.

My job. I've progressed from thinking it's tolerable to hating it. Plus I get the feeling my colleagues are starting to hate me a bit. I've got no evidence of that, but it's just my intuition. And I'm fed up of all the pointless meetings I have to attend.

How direct debits and subscriptions creepily can cost you a lot. You can even forget you are paying for something. Was just looking at my banking app. I feel I avoid it because although it's painless to buy stuff, it's painful to look at how much I might be spending that I have liked to keep this out of mind.

I need to learn more about money.

I feel we have more tools to be financially aware, especially because banks are digital, but wonder if older people are generally smarter with their finances because the subscription model, automated payments, weren't as common with them as they us with people in their 20s-40s now?

I think Meta's strategy is to try to make instagram the primary platform for images but then requiring everyone to have an account to view the images. Locking out non users from instagram is to try and make everyone have an instagram account I think.
