^We can always make up for lost time in life. It's never too late!
I remember staying up late to watch things, like 'Fourmations', the animation programme on Channel 4 in the 80s. There was always that sense of intrigue at discovering new things, even 'adult' things one wasn't supposed to be watching. It was all a fun part of discovery. It isn't really the same now you can watch anything online. The films I used to see on TV always stayed with me. I remember seeing 'Walkabout' which I remember was shown early one morning and it completely blew my mind. I was only about 16 and I thought it was the most wonderful film I'd ever seen. We don't need to know everything, or be experts, we just need a few special experiences and they stay with you for the rest of your life. |

When you have more in common with people who were born in the 40's, 50's, 60's, and 70's than you do with people who were born in the 90's.
I don't get millennials. Also, when you realise the 90's were so long ago and it's 20 years since Tony Blair was Prime Minister and 20 years since Princess Diana died. |
