You get fussy about stupid things you didn't used to care about, like bedding and cutlery and comfy shoes.

When you go on holiday and your toilet bag (full of essentials) fills half your suitcase.

I'm sorry you aren't able to eat super noodles on a regular basis Sphinx. But if it's any consolation I'm no longer able to eat the curry flavoured super noodles. Well I suppose I could if I really wanted to but the outcome isn't very favourable. I would describe the outcome but I don't want to put people off from eating super noodles. Although I remember a time when I was able to eat the most spiciest of foods and my colon used to laugh at those spices. Those were the days! The same goes for my bladder, the old me could hold a gallon of water and there wasn't a dribble in sight. Good times.

I've recently taken up eating super noodles again. What is the cut off age?

I came home early from work and just fell asleep fully clothed face down on my bed. I think this is age catching up with me.

Recent studies seem to suggest that the exact cut off point for eating super noodles is......Hold on, let me just clarify the exact cut off point......Well this is embarrassing, it turns out there has been no recent studies on the exact age you should stop eating super noodles. I guess I must have gotten my studies mixed up with something else. Ah, now I remember, I’m mixing up the study where scientists have discovered the exact cut off point for eating pot noodles. So it was an easy mistake to make. Oh and apparently you can eat pot noodles well into your 100’s. Although I'm not entirely sure if that study covers the bombay flavoured pot noodle.

Haha I just seem to bloat up like a balloon when I eat them these days.. never used to. I liked the chicken ones.. made them fancy by adding worcestershire sauce and herbs and everything.

Then there were the pepperami noodles.. I miss those!

*laments the loss of noodle eating*

I***8217;m not just saying this Sphinx, but I am incredibly impressed with your worcestershire sauce and herbs and everything flavouring! Talk about posh! You know what I do when I eat super noodles, I add some water (without measuring as I***8217;m such a rebel) then I add the sachet flavouring (which usually takes me about 2 minutes to open) and I nuke the noodles for 5 minutes (which then takes me another 5 minutes to clean the condensation from the microwave) But then the feast begins and I stick my head right into the noodle bowl. I would like to say that last part was for comedic effect, but alas it***8217;s the truth. So knowing this might give you a better understanding as to why I***8217;m so impressed with your worcestershire sauce and herbs and everything flavouring.

As for the pepperami noodles, I think I can speak on behalf of the group and say that spices are no longer our friend. Although I feel like doing something monumental right now, and so on behalf of the 30+ group, I intend on eating a spicy vindaloo curry. It's ok, there's no need to stop me, I know what I'm doing.

I've been ill for a while so things like keeping on top of trimming my hair as I like it short has been pushed to the back of my mind and its longer than its been in quite a while

It has occured to me today I'm getting awfully thin on top!

I'm not that fussed as usually I shave my hair on a number 1..but it was slightly...weird to see a bit of a skin coloured patched appearing on top

Could be stress, could be illness related..could be getting old!

turns out my dad started going at 25.so its probably that..bugger

For me, always loved having hair and have always styled it with gel. At 22 I noticed some receding hairline. Oh crap! I though that was the start of it

8 years later and I've actually still pretty much got it all. Sure, receded gradually about an inch until I was 25. And sure, not as thick as it used to be. It wasn't until I was 25 that anyone else really would notice. And they only did because I pointed it out. Because I haven't really started balding from the back yet, people don't really remember your hairline before so they say they don't notice (they could just be being kind of course).

But considering what I thought I was in for (dad and both grandparents bald and have never known them to ever have any hair) then I'm not doing too bad at 30.

No doubt I will lose my hair, but it may continue being gradual and (hopefully) well into my 40s. Yet, I would have experienced some form since I first noticed myself at 22). Where as others who will have had thick heads of hair up until their late 30s may suddenly loose it all in the space of a few years.

Definitely a strange one and you can't really call it. If you're bothered by hair loss, hopefully it's very gradual and unnoticeable for you too.
Ah I don't really mind, I don't exactly want to look like a monk in my early 30's though

It's just weird, like its appeared out of nowhere, I never really expected it as hair was always quite far down on my list of things I cared about..just had a bit of a double take when I caught a bit more skin looking back at me in the mirror as I was looking up

When you can remember using film in cameras. Yes it's true, you actually had to wait a week to get the prints back to see how your photo came out. Can you imagine how the selfie addicts of today would've coped with that lol

When you can remember having blackboards in school

lol I just put in some camera film to Boots. I've had 4 rolls of colour film and one black and white film knocking about in a drawer for ages. They must be 10+ (maybe 15+) years old. Have absolutely no idea what is on them . I'm guessing my parents and my then dog mostly....
I was amazed Boots still did this! 2 days for the colour film and 14 days for the b&w as it has to be sent away. Made me feel all nostalgic.

You're not alone Change, I'm like a moth to a flame regarding the National Trust Membership thread. I'm not entirely sure why, but it might have something to do with seeing how older landmarks are able to stand the test of time. Talking of which, it's always good to be a part of this group.

On a side note, I wish the background colour in the Club 30-81 threads were a darker shade of blue. I find the lighter shade of blue makes me feel colder. It's ok for the 20+ aged members, as they don't feel the cold like we do in here. And another thing, it would be nice if we had some emoticons that expresses our age. Not once have I seen a comfy pair of emoticon slippers to choose from. Also, where is the emoticon that expresses our appreciation for napping? Sure, you have the emoticon for sleeping, but where is the drool? After all, it's common knowledge that older members like ourselves drool when we nap. Although on second thoughts, they have given us the dancing sausage and we should be grateful for that

Asda Fruit & Fibre. That's all I'm saying. Ok, I will say a bit more. It works like a dream! You could say I haven't felt so cleansed in a long time!

It's also good news that it's getting warmer now. I'm sure we can all appreciate that in this group. Although I don't think we should get too complacent, as I'm sure I heard there's a possibility of more snow in April. So make sure you keep your thermal socks on standby.

I just noticed the sellers address was visible, now I envisage hoards of hobbling bent over SAUKers breaking in (very slowly) to steal all his voltarol.
