I will say it now, my Whimsy is no match for your Whimsy. In fact, I bow down to your Whimsyness! I’m also inspired to write a Whimsical poem to mark this occasion.

Title of Poem: Whimsy, by any other name

Author: Chess&Junkfood

Publisher: Chess&Junkfood

Price and shipping costs: TBA

Whimsy, oh Whimsy!
Thou art, is Whimsy!
Many are called, but few are Whimsy!
Oh, Whimsy!

I’m also considering doing a tour of this poem for other SA forums. I will announce the details at a later date.

We didn't get one this time despite the snowy weather. Mo's right it's given to everyone recieving particular benefits by postcode to help with extra energy costs when the weather drops below freezing. Maybe your brother could give some of it to your parents to contribute to electricity/Gas.

The American at work whose self-assuredness intimidates me to the point that I often babble and generally come across as a fool when I talk to her asked if me and the fella would want to go bowling with her and her fella one evening. Wtf?

I dread having to spend five minutes on the train with her and trying to think of stuff to say. How am I meant to bowl with her? Introduce her to the fella? Be introduced to her fella? Talk? Put on an appropriate performance of excitement/self-satisfaction on getting a strike or half strike? Feign being unfazed if I do worse than her? For a whole hour+???

the music is quite good but i just can't abide her miserablist stylings.

strongly considering going to one of their gigs, jumping onstage (lol wtf are THEY gonna do), grabbing her mic and shouting "CHEER UP LOVE IT MIGHT NEVER HAPPEN"
portishead are great!

your anne frank comment reminded me of this eric andre episode with kelly osbourne

Ill give them a go. I do realise portishead are "good" but maybe its just me as a musician myself being baffled at people making a career just out of whinging

I'm disappointed in myself. I drove a fair distance for a job on my own yesterday, and the job itself was a success, but my driving was so ****ing awful I'm ashamed.

I ran a red light to start with, it started changing to amber when I was at a decent speed on a slope, stopping would have been pretty much an emergency one so I hesitated, it turned red just as I was going past and got a honk from someone (I assumed it was aimed at me). On the way home for some bizarre reason I pulled out when it wasn't safe at a junction, floored it to get out of the way, thankfully I don't think I even made them slow down, but I kept thinking I'm delaying the person behind which pushed me to be stupid. Also smacked the garage as I was parking.

Not a great experience

It's just a case of building up experience. When I first went back to driving you don't want to know how bad it was, lol. And when I 1st past my test my driving was wobbly at times.

I've never seen any good YouTube videos usually just smoking hot people complaining about shyness * rolls eyes. I think a YouTube channel would be a great idea.

My farts are in breach of the Geneva convention today. Damn.

I'm definitely not volunteering ! ( though I think we just answered out own question of why there aren't any good videos )

Perhaps someone more savvy with this type of thing will emerge...batman we need you!

I've actually got quite upset after finding out Bill Turnbull has incurable prostate cancer.
I used to watch him on BBC Breakfast, and seen him on a few other things too - he seems genuinely really likeable, jolly and kind. Really feel for him and his family.
