I don't find talking with anyone from my family comforting at all, even my parents.
God, why people have to be so different.

I just looked up eye tests myself funnily enough.

Visions express are doing £10 tests and Specsavers are doing free eye tests, if you print a voucher from their website.

How new volunteers are always trying to get me out of my cat role, lol. The last volunteer I had didn't want to share the cats *eyeroll* I just carried on as normal and ignored the subtle digs. My current co volunteer is lovely and we get on really well together. But theirs a new lady who has no fixed role - she's kind of done the guinea pigs so far. I can see whats coming though. Today she cornered me 'So do you get here early then? Like 9 ish?' So you always do the cats? Do you not ever do the horses, like at the other place?' and on and on. I could see her trying to work out how to get me to shift to something else. If it were really busy/full I wouldn't mind her doing cat stuff but as it is there already 2 of us and only the 2 kitten broods and 5 Resident cats. So it really doesn't take long. Tho I spend time with them as well. Which she could do as well anyway.

^ I'm so sorry that you sometimes feel like that too Perhaps

No, of course I don't mind you asking Perhaps
It was my son who I wanted to take me to see the Lego movie but I said it with my tongue firmly in my cheek. I took him to see these kinds of movies when he was little and we both enjoyed it as much as each other - despite me being the grown up! But that was a long time ago. I can't speak for all teenagers, but I don't think there's a snowball in hells chance of my 16 year old wanting to go alone to the Cinema with his mother. That would be SO uncool and, god forbid, what if any of his friends saw us together!

Maybe it's different for mothers and daughters? I mean they love going on regular shopping sprees together don't they? Or am I stereotyping here?

^ Most people seem uncool to teenage boys, maybe you could buy it on Dvd when it comes out and have a movie night together.

Gratz Indigo, you found the light. I'm so happy to be back on Android after 3 weeks of iOS pain. I haven't turned my iPad on since I got my replacement phone and don't plan to if I can avoid it. So many bugs and inconveniences with iOS. I'll fully accept it was better than Android at one point, but that point has long passed.

Come back to Android, don't worry you can't replace the battery easily on 99% of Android phones now either

Seriously, if you haven't used it in quite a while you should at least consider it. Android 9 is lovely and you get more for your money, the phone I got is basically comparable to an iPhone X in use but better and was only £250...plus Android is cats.
