I'm getting to the age where I was visiting a friend of mum's with mum, and she didn't answer the door, and we were both sort of wondering if she was lying on the floor somewhere..

^ Is that the same age you can say things like, 'oh, there you are! We were beginning to think you were lying on the floor somewhere'?

I saw this comment on Facebook - Trust is like virginity, it can be cherished, preserved but once it's gone it's gone.

I rather like it and it's certainly true.

I'm convinced I am one of the most boring people in existence.

I don't do anything

I work, I watch youtube, I occasionally play a game till I get bored and somewhere amongst that action packed schedule I eat and sleep.

If I'm eating my lunch in our little canteen at work and theres only 1 other person in there..I don't speak to them..I just quietly carry on and eat, I have nothing interesting/relevant to say, I can just about string a sentence together if they ask me something.

I just..have nothing to make conversation about, unless you want to start talking about a bit of engineering/3D software..or middle aged men on the internet playing video games badly..I can not hold a conversation

Tis a good thing I don't attempt to date, women all over the world (yorkshire) would be drowning in their soup after I bore them to sleep.

I don't know when I turned into such a boring fart, its been quite a long process but I feel I've hit a peak (or would it be a trough)

The village I live in had a bank robbery yesterday. A proper - walk in and stick 'em up job.

Obviously this is not funny, but yet it kinda is

The bugger as far as I heard got away with the money and so far hasn't been caught. They had helicopters and all sorts out looking for him. If someone gets assaulted there's not a cop to be seen, steal a bit of money and the your drowning in police.

Sounds like we're in the same boat - the 'things can only get better' boat, also known as the 'stay exactly the same for a long, long time boat'. It's a shit boat

I was hoping there would be a little captain/sailor face smile

Maybe its alright in your 20's, doesnt seem to cut it in your 30's when everyone else seems to grow up, have families and things to talk about..even if its what colour to paint the bathroom or how they cant get their sprog off fortnite

I miss the student days, I fit in somewhat

I think my Venus flytrap doesn't like the taste of spiders, I have been watching one crawling back and forth over several traps and not one of them has closed on it.
It does however seem to enjoy a nice Woodlouse!

^ yes, I had a venus flytrap that was the same. I used to tease it with a dead fly too and it didn't even budge! I think they are cleverer than we think.

So, finished painting and glossing last night. I have my carpets fitted on Tuesday, and I go for a job meet and show around Tomorrow. Hopefully this is the start of me getting back on track.

Looking forward to having the money to travel on my days off. If I get the job that is.
