Eh, I still don't know who I am as a person. I'm all these different pieces coming apart etc etc. I am not doing the deep processing, I'm too busy gallivanting about the place, so it's more of a traditional reset, where I shall have some temporary motivation on my return. Maybe the house/catsitting will help.

Moving to the countryside. May even be beneficial for my health due to stress and stuff.

I'm beginning to think that Facebook should set a limit on how many times someone can change their relationship status in a year.
I have two people in my Facebook who change relationships on an almost weekly basis

I've only gone and done it again. I sent flowers to my sister and put my address. Now I've ordered some trainers and a load of bras and accidentally sent them to be delivered to her address. She lives an hour and twenty minute drive away.

I'm completely regretting binning my old trainers now.

Ah well! at least it means I can go and visit her next week :D

We have been taught how to act, look, live etc. But we have also been taught to go against our instincts and body so it becomes counter productive.

Consultations from a few therapists tomorrow for therapy. I'm feeling a bit angry from a minor situation yesterday. I feel I can't wait much longer and need effective therapy. I have had therapy before but think it wasn't effective therapy as usually me and the therapist couldn't emphasize with each others issues.

If I were completely honest sometimes my mum really annoys me. The last two days she has borrowed money off me. Not much but then I don't make much money and want to pay for therapy so have to be more careful with how I spend my money. She spent a bit above the limit we agreed to so I have temporarily froze my card. That's probably toxic of me. If it was easy I would move out . I think the fact that I'm looking at therapy, and want therapy that works at the moment makes me notice how annoyed my mum makes me feel sometimes. 10 years ago as a teen I told her that I had anxiety, she never listened. I told her a few days ago when I was having sleep problems, she has sleep issues as well as she always wakes up in the middle of the night. After I told her though I was less angry, I think because I wa more open with her.
But now I'm angry because, I know I am an adult, but I think since childhood I have felt like she never took my issues seriously. She is mentally ill, but it seems she dismisses my issues then expects me to be like a caretaker for her or she doesn't help herself. Yesterday she was clapping, idk, maybe she was angry that I didn't allow her to spend more that her limit. She might say I'm selfish but I'm working a lot at a job I don't really like, have social issues in as well. Have to take a transport that is anxiety and sometimes anger triggering. I deserve to spend my money how I want and not leave it for someone else to spend. I also think although therapy would be expensive, but affordable, for me. I want therapy that works, not another one that is ineffective, I need and deserve therapy.

Also where is extended family, they haven't taken care of my mum, they ran away. Literally the only time I ever see them is if my mum has been institutionalised. I'm learning that it is actually physically unhealthy to repress emotions and what one feels on stuff. I don't know all my family but yeah, I do feel like I don't like or feel questionable about some of them, or don't like their past actions. i feel questionable about my granny and don't even know if she loves us really. I kinda think she helped cause my mum's scizophrenia by not raising up my mum whilst she raised up her other kids, though the situation was probably complicated. As to family only ever coming when my mum is ill, maybe my mum is toxic but there isn't much excuse in modern day Britain.

I watched a video on it. I think it's more about being more self sufficient. I'm no expert but I don't think living in the country is necessarily more expensive.

^. Have you ever looked into becoming self sufficient through a creative cottage industry along the lines of the Christmas things you make, D, potentially expanding that into other product lines?

Just had a consultation with two therapists. I think I liked the first one more but have to try both of them. I didn't like the second one as he was speaking too much about the mind and how anxiety can be dealt with quickly and through exposure. I think he means well but I think I want a therapy where it feels okay to feel what I feel rather than saying what I feel is wrong or not seeing how anxiety can be deeply rooted.

I think maybe I want a therapy style that is based on processing emotions more.

I've got a Microsoft Team job interview in 30 mins. The interview detail said that I will receive the Microsoft Team invite 1 day before the interview. Still haven't received it, called the people who are interviewing me this morning, they said they've sent it and correctly confirmed my email address, so they said they'll look into it and send it again. 30 mins before my interview and I still haven't received the MT invite.

What do I do? When I called the lady this morning it was slightly awkward as she was in the middle of interviewing someone. Argh.

I know it's probably obvious, but have you checked your spam folder? It seems to happen frequently that people say it went to that.

Yes, I've checked my spam/junk, not there, but they've just called me to explain that they had typed my email address wrong (they put .com instead of .co.uk at the end of my email address). So all systems go. Thanks

There's a website you might want to check out called Conscious Crafties, it's a place where people who have any kind of conditions/disabilities can sell the crafts they make and it was started by a woman with a long term health condition. Obviously most people don't make a living from there (some do by selling on multiple differnt online platforms) but it can be nice to sell things you make if you want to. There are clear instructions about how to do everything aswell. The only thing I guess would be posting items, but maybe you have someone who could pop things to the post office for you. Anyway, just incase you're interested.

This probably sounds crazy.

Just like I think music reflects culture I think haircuts also reflect culture. I cut my hair short into a really short drop fade. Co-workers have complimented the haircut. At first it felt weird as I went from a short hi-top fade to a drop fade with a level 1 and half on top, afro textured hair btw. So it changed how my face looked a bit, now it feels clean and short haircut. When I first did it seem more plain however now I feel because it's short and basic it's actually subtle and small stuff like the style of fade can really alter appearance.

Anyways for Black people, I notice that medium length hair is in for Black men, So many have grown out their hair, some plaits with fades at the side. To me this reflects hip hop currently. Hip hop is more about experimentation in sound design and stuff compared to back in the days when it was probably more repetitive beatwise but had really good lyrics, wordplay and stuff. Old hip hop reminds me of a short, more subtle looking haircut whereas modern hip hop and the genres it has influenced reminds me of the haircuts that are in.

It's a good hairdo for doing risky field maintenance on helicopters, you'd get plenty of warning if you absent-mindedly did a big stretch and your bonce strayed into the blades, though unfortunately the same couldn't be said for your hands unless you had very hairy fingers. Did Kid-n-Play have very hairy fingers? I remember seeing them in an episode of Sister Sister, but telly wasn't in HD yet so it can't be verified.

Can I please get behind you, Merritt?

Nothing to be alarmed about of course

I just want to get a bit closer to Jam. While also not wanting to get any blood spatter on my face

Hi Jam!

That haircut post! The structure of that post! The delivery of that post!

I have to say Jam. As far as rubber chickens go, yours is quite big!

Isn't it big, Merritt?

God damn!!

Also

Do you remember the football joke that Jam did a bit ago?

I'm not even sure if they got that guys heart started before Jam whipped out his footlong rubber chicken!

It's a big rubber chicken is what I'm saying!!!!!!!!

Anyway, Jam. We would stop of course, but unfortunately me and Merritt have got a prior engagement.

All the best!

Oh!

Before I forget. Love your puns!

Ok Merritt. Let's go!!!!!!

Thanks for that Merritt. I appreciate it!

I know I've said it before, but God damn!!!

The size of that rubber chicken!!!

Anyway, Merritt. I better get some sleep

And also

I've always admired your rubber chicken!

And for what it's worth, I think it's a great size!

Anyway, on that note, I definitely need to get some sleep!

Wow, first cold in...I dunno, eighteen months.
Mask wearing has really helped but the mass hours I've done recently left me susceptible to the damn thing.
Bleugh.
