Great. I've taken the day off, but i see on the works whatsapp that there's an order put through that needs delivering, which is something that i would've done. Now debating whether to volunteer to come in briefly (it'll only take 90+ mins) and do it just to make myself look relevant.

Yeah, i'd get paid. I texted my brother to let him know that i'd do it if need be (no answer yet). It may be the case that it can wait til tomorrow, but you can imagine what i'm thinking that they may think me a liability taking random days off with no warning.

Lol, tell me about it - bane of my life! Well, during summer. It's one of the reasons i almost completely cease doing anything, outside of the essentials, during hot periods.

I never used to be a sweaty Betty. Since being on venlafaxine though I get moist just climbing the stairs (and not in a good way) And with the weather how it's been it feels like I've been full-body basted (again, not in a good way)

Ohh, that's a bit crappy. Hopefully, when the day comes, medication no longer required, you can enjoy your pre non-sweaty self again (not in a good way... ?).

^^ I'm on Venlafaxine too, and I do sweat a lot but I've always been like that so I don't think I've noticed any difference!

Apparently the field at the back of me is on fire so I'm thinking about how quickly I could round up my cats and safely deposit them into their carriers if the fire was to rapidly sweep towards the direction of my house. I can hear sirens in the distance so I'm guessing things are now under control. It does make you worry for the future though when these intense heatwaves are probably going to become a commonplace summertime occurrence.

I've started making friends with a lovely family from Hong Kong recently settling in my area. I've always wanted to learn Cantonese because of the movies I grew up watching. Now I really regret not learning it sooner. Oh well.

I'm planning to go swimming in the sea, but a person needs some sort of swimming costume or bikini for that sort of thing. I can't find my bikini. Now, I could just wear a black bra and some black knickers. I know the bra will be fine, but I get the feeling the knickers will just balloon up with water. I wish I had a bath to test if it will be okay!

^ yeah, same! It's not like we'll ever see the people there ever again and they don't know what's is/isn't swimwear. Plus what's the worst they will say? "KNICKERS!"

The good news is that I found my bikini. Woohoo!

Fortunately the fire was put out in time It's surprising how fast fire spreads though.
