^ That's not possible is it, it would be nice if people could snap out of depression but sadly they can't.

^ I would of thought that the staff would want to help people, I mean that’s their job to support people to get to hopefully a brighter future, all these hospitals are all the same in my experience I’m sorry you are going through this Mellie I wish I could do more to help you.

I hate when people say that, as if we could just snap out of it.

^ Well, I think there are people that would care very much but some of them are rubbish at showing that they care or offering support until it's sadly too late

You stay strong too

I seem to just piss my family off, my work colleagues and my few remaining friends. Honestly, what is the point of carrying on? I’m just a ****, end of.

I’m so cynical about this shithole we happen to live in. Don’t see the point of it at all.

thank you Quietman. I feel bad for my outburst there. I’m a little calmer now.

Quietman, I know you’ve been through an awful lot recently. All I can say is hang in there too. I do hope you will get through this and get to feel some positivity in the future. Things can change.

Tembo that's what this place is for to open up about what's going on for you, don't feel bad about it.

I'm quite scared of this hospital I'm in now - I want out asap. They asked if I want leave on my own so that's a step forward to getting out soon.. got told to go to my room cos its too dangerous in corridor, feel bad for staff. I still don't want to live but I'm going to try and be positive from now on, i don't want them to know that my mental health isn't good - they aren't that sympathetic here anyway heard them sat in office laughing at the women who was shouting.

Went to cut my arm haven't done that for years, feeling really down, again I think soon is the time, I feel bad about typing it on here but if I did't have a place to vent I would be more likely to do it without thinking. Its not just my mom its that gene test, my dads illness all on top of the other.

^ I'm so sorry that you are going through so much on your own and I wish that there was something that I could say or do to help
Please don't feel bad about venting here. I vent here all the time and often feel embarrassed when I see my late night posts in the cold light of day but ah well, it is a mental health support forum after all!

Isn't there a chance that the test results will come back to say that you don't have the gene? Either way, you really should be receiving professional support for all that you are coping with at the moment. Everyone, including myself, says reach out for support but where the heck is it

Please keep posting, Quietman, or I for one shall start to worry
