Maybe I'll pop it on my 'When I'm feeling brave' list. The thing I'd want done would probably be incredibly simple for them, so I might be in and out before I know it.
I have a sunshine and a kite, which took about 2 hours, and a dandelion, which took about 3 hours. Both have lettering on them too.

I***8217;m hoping my dog is going to behave herself at the vets this morning. She gets in such an overexcited state whenever we go there and it***8217;s so embarrassing. If she won***8217;t keep still she***8217;ll need sedating and it***8217;s going to cost even more money.
We might have to have an imagination Christmas, kids!

^ Hoping all goes well. Our dog HATES the vets. Sits there patiently until his name is called and then makes a bolt for the door! Every time.

a job 5pm-1am each day? I can do what I like during the day, then have the cost of an evening. But then 1am home, after 8 hour shift and probably want to eat. So maybe 3am going to sleep. Woken up at 8am by housemates getting up, and sun/noises outside.

The kind of next level procrastination I'm currently doing. I'm farting about on the internet to put off switching on a video game which I'd be playing to put off doing anything practical around the flat. I'm even avoidant of my own avoidance.

Me too!
I spend far too much money on ping meals and they have hardly any nutritional value but I'm pretty much useless in the kitchen

The rest of my family (like aunts/uncles/cousins) are mostly in Scotland with a scattering in Yorkshire.

As for Friends well...not sure there's anyone that I would want to spend xmas with, they all have there own families - kids, partners etc.. I think i'd just feel a bit awkward tbh.

Could you get yourself a pet as a Christmas present?

Wow, I'm impressed, in a morbid way, that your cat actually eats them! Most cats I know of seem to have no idea once they've caught the mouse

Thinking about how difficult it is to find the balance between talking to my friends too much meaning I annoy them, and not talking to my friends enough which means I push them away.
I only ever seem to do those two things, rather than something more in the middle of the two.
Meh.

One of my hobbies seems to have become looking for videos of people being awful on YouTube and threads on Reddit and the like. Paedophiles being confronted, people getting into arguments, people having fights, people being racist on buses, Donald Trump's existence, etc. I know logically there have likely always been people like this, horrible stuff happening and all that, but I seem to go looking for it out of morbid curiosity, while isolating myself from any kind of normal social life or benign interactions with people. This is probably really bad for my mental health, isn't it? Living on the internet is probably really bad for my mental health, too. I like to think that I'll one day figure out how to distance myself from it, and not let it shape my worldview, but let's face it, it's only going to get worse.

I mean, I just watched a video of a woman crying and saying someone was being racist for not serving her french fries at a Taco Bell, which apparently they don't even sell. Half my brain's saying 'That really isn't normal behaviour, ignore it' and the other's saying 'That's probably just what people are like, don't even try to understand them.'
