"Eating Healthy..?"
Hello...
I didn't know where to put this. So I've put It here I'm a very fussy eater. - I don't eat fish or meat much. - And one week I'll like something the next I hate It. - I boredom eat alot. - I don't eat vegs. - I don't eat fruit much. - I'm a teenager. I prefer just to grab something such as crisps. ;/ And I know It's not good for my health. So does anyone have any advice on eating healthy? (I could do with losing weight) Thanks |

Re: "Eating Healthy..?"
Find something else to do when you're bored rather than just eating.

Re: "Eating Healthy..?"
do the opposite to what you stated in your list
DO eat fish and some meat DO eat veg DO eat fruit if your bored take up a hobby instead of eating or try having a drink instead (not booze) often the body can make you think its hungry when its in fact thirsty . dont eat much salt below is a list of the most fattening things on earth. avoid or eat in moderation fatty cuts of meat and meat products such as sausages and pies butter, ghee and lard cream, soured cream, crème fraîche and ice cream cheese, particularly hard cheese pastries cakes and biscuits some savoury snacks some sweet snacks and chocolate coconut oil, coconut cream and palm oil |

Re: "Eating Healthy..?"
You don't have to cut out ALL crap at once, you could just excercise and burn off what you did eat.
Best way for anyone to lose weight is to cut 500 calories (1500) and excercise daily. There are many 1500 calorie diet plans online you could follow, which also give excercise recommendations too. |

Re: "Eating Healthy..?"
How to eat healthily: eat a varied diet, with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and not too much red or processed meat, and don't eat too much. There really isn't any more to it than that.

Re: "Eating Healthy..?"
Good advice from people here.
I have cut out things from my diet, lost half a stone and regained a waistline, although I still have a way to go. I've cut out dairy products, chocolate, cakes and biscuits and bread and have one cooked meal a day. Lunch is Ryvita with humous or peanut butter, breakfast is just dry cereal or nuts. Have extra veg with your meal - that will fill you up without the calories, same goes for fruit. If you want to nibble eat healthy snacks like nuts and dried fruit rather than crisps. |

Re: "Eating Healthy..?"
Make an effort to try a different kind of fruit or veg every week - you might like some of them! Veg is better if cooked as part of a meal, using spices and herbs etc, so look up some recipes online and experiment with cooking. You said you don't eat much meat or fish, which is fine, but you do need to get protein from somewhere, such as dairy, nuts, beans, pulses or soy products (tofu etc).
The boredom eating is something you need to address, by finding alternative things to do. Always eating a healthy breakfast will help you stop snacking so much. |
