The downtime was caused by the domain not being renewed wasnt it? I did a whois lookup on it when it was down and the dns server pointed to notrenewed.joker.com or something like that.
Either way good job for pulling an all nighter Dan and sorting it. |

In all honestly it is not acceptable that the fate of this site lies in the hands of an individual who obviously must have missed/ignored warning emails that the domain was going to expire. Not trying to be an arse, but peeps on the chat room were really anxious that the site was screwed, so for oldies as well as newbies it maybe an idea to see if the existing structure can be changed to protect against this sort of stuff potentially happening again. |
