I'm feeling Kerrnackered. mentally anyway. Had a really good meeting then went off to the most intense and black zoom drop-in. Talk about exhausting. S/U forum was cancelled thankfully. Since then I seem to have had to wade through a million emails and can't think straight cause I feel like I'm working/sitting in a greenhouse with no ventilation, lol. :/
Glad to have finished for the day. Roll on the thunderstorms

Musically I feel like listening to angry music. Found this and it doesn't seem ragey like I want it to be.

Brave.
I spoke about something for the first time out loud to another person today. I never had the courage before. As silly as it sounds i had this dread that if i said it, the earth would swallow me up, that i'd spontaneously combust or burst into flames, or shatter and fall to pieces, that the shame would eat away at me. But it didnt and nothing bad happened. I thought i'd feel different, worse somehow or shaken but i dont. Relieved at how normal i feel and that life moves on, that it doesnt have the power over me that i thought it did or that i had given it all these years. Just feels good to breathe like a weight has been lifted and nothing bad happened.

Hey, hey biscuit. This is what i hear when i read your name.

That feeling is so great when you say something that your brain has been trying to stop you from revealing and it's met with acceptance by other people. It's a good feeling

I'm feeling like death warmed up. I fell asleep, had an awful dream, woke up sweating and now feel fuzzy headed and exhausted. I thought sleep was meant to be a time when the body could recuperate and you'd wake up refreshed

^^ I'm sure it will be ok! You might want to have some paracetamol handy as after the second one some people seem to feel a bit worse or more tired.

Blood clots, heart inflammation but I’m pretty sure covid itself causes them so vaccines are safer.

I’m late but there was news of four BA pilots dying in one week. All young with no noticeable health conditions. It’s well known that travelling in a planes pressurised cabin increases the likelihood of blood clotting. There might be other stuff but I guess the jab is relatively safe for most people but we still need to take precautions.

I don't want to tempt fate, but I've actually been feeling more confident recently. It's a nice feeling but i don't want to piss it off so it goes away again!

^^ Hmm, flying can be a risk for anyone at higher risk of blood clots for any reason. I wonder how long it was after they'd had the vaccine and if they'd been advised to take any extra precautions like compression socks and moving about more etc. Also I wonder which vaccine they had.

I felt absolutely fine after the first one and last night but this morning I do feel like I have a cold or mild flu but without the snotty nose and throat.
I'm more anxious about the risk of blood clots or heart inflammation (I know its a tiny risk but anxiety thinks otherwise)

According to my anxious inner voice there are many potentially catastrophic outcomes, mainly blood clots and heart inflammation

Thanks biccies the jab itself was easy the tricky part is keeping my anxiety in check.

I have more of the typical 'desirable life stuff' than I've ever had but feel trapped, dissatisfied and lonely, and don't really know how things can be improved.

I don't know if it's COVID stuff, being far from family, my circumstances being too typical for my atypical leanings or just my tendency to struggle with seeing the point of anything (excepting good grammar and pasta).

Part of me wants to run away and start afresh somewhere. Again. With a new name, a new occupation and a new appreciation for unflattering cargo trousers.

Urgh.
