Yeah but Morocco might beat Portugal so this is really unlikely.

That is true! That could happen. (I predict it won't!) It could be a definite no possibility!

The answer is neither - every goal's a whole lot of excitement. It's double the excitement!

I'm hoping Brazil and Netherlands get through, I've always liked the dutch football teams.

I know Argentina seem a good side, but to me, they look like quite a dirty team,
last few times I watched them I saw a lot of rough tackling and barging,
one of the things I hate in football is dirty tactics and play-acting to hoodwink referees.

I don't mind who goes through - may the best team win is pretty much my .. whatsname.

My guess at what may happen. Any thoughts? Brazil and France i think will be fairly clear wins. Portugal will have to fight but will ultimately win in a high scoring game and Netherlands/Argentina will be close, low scoring.

I don't feel there's any sense of occasion with football these days. I don't think people feel a sense of occasion for anything much these days, lol. The commentary and analysis is soooo dull. I want 50s style radio type commentary to come back, where it sounded like they were watching the greatest event there's ever been.

Netherlands-Argentina should be more exciting.

Or those Italian commentators. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLL. Except no goals in this case.

The bookmakers are going to be doing well out of this world cup lol

Looked like there was just no getting through to the Croatian goal for Brazil,..
Maybe they just look good against certain teams,
The Croatian game plan won,
It wasn't pretty, but they got there.
