Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
^ yeah me too.
But from that list: Worrying, Avoidant, Procrastinatory but by far the worst for me is uncontrollable shaking which can come from nowhere. At it's very worst (i.e., I can't remove myself from situation) I will shake all over - legs especially. |

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
Sorry to hear biscuits.
thats super high adrenalin to be shaking Mo. Do you have to avoid caffeine ? I had a moment today. Because I'm caffeine sensitive. I was on the computer at the library got lost in my own world on it, and then bam sudden transition shock. |

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
Today I've been feeling a great sense of rejection at work. I'm 50% sure it's probably all in my head, but it feels real (and could be).

I haven't had shaking today but no I don't really avoid caffeine (though I don't drink coffee as its yuk). The shaking for me seems to be some kind of odd subconscious reaction to things. Sorry caffiene has such an effect for you. All it does with me I think is keep me awake. The rest still stands for today - Worrying, Avoidant, Procrastinatory. |

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
I always seem to be really anxious and wound up about the workplace,
I find it really difficult to get along with certain types of people, I really don't fit in at all and it always makes me anxious, I should really have spoken up for myself more, but these people know, or sense that I just don't "do" confrontation, I'll do anything to avoid an argument, and they seem to keep pushing their behaviour to the limit, Problem is, that I get tongue tied and flustered when I try and address things and so avoid any possible conflicts by just putting up with things, There's a lot of cheeky comments and "banter" and a lot of dreadfully lazy people who deliberately make a point of leaving me to do most of the work, This workplace is odd, because ironically enough, it's these same lazy indolent people who seem to be well thought of and favourites of the bosses,.. It's truly bizarre to witness all this on a daily basis, I think it's basically driving me slowly mad. It's like my mind has latched onto this situation and can't just switch off from it, If I worked alone, none of this would be an issue, and I could relax. |

The postman and people pushing strange cards through the door have also caused some fighting anxiety. And ball anxiety - will the human get with the programme and throw the frigging ball. So anticipatory anxiety. |

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
Always panic attacks for me with phone calls.
I mean how can you answer the phone when you are hyperventilating and your hands are shaking so badly you couldn't slide the thing on the screen to answer anyway haha |

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
Anxiety is so annoying, I just wish there was a button that I could press that would make me less socially awkward and stop worrying, overthinking doesn't help matters.
Also normal people don't realise how hard it is to even speak to someone, say hello, or pretend they aren't there as can't cope with the conversation, then I'm ignorant but can't help it. Sent from my SM-A530F using Tapatalk |

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
None really, but I've not done any of the things that cause anxiety.
I've not spoken to anyone except family all day, except the woman at the gym who was looking for the toilet. |

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
^ many people don't. My Dad didn't until he was in his 70s and almost no longer eligible.
A lot of the time they won't actually need you and you just sit around until you get sent home, apparently. Mr Nobody I hope you don't get put on the jury for a gruesome murder case (or do, if maybe you enjoy that sort of thing for all I know) |

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
^ ^^
Thanks folks I've been before and absolutely hated it, I used to think my anxiety wasn't too bad and I'd find it all interesting and novel, but once I was there I was as nervous as hell and just wanted out of there, I can't tell you how relieved i was not to be picked last time, this time I am definitely picked, and it's a week long trial at the High court, so,... I can only try and relax and kind of grind it out day by day. I will try and keep reassuring myself that at least I'm not at work. |

I'm feeling quite down after that ordeal, There was one point where I might have had a slight opportunity to get out of it, but I just kept schtum, I think if your mental health is a bit fragile being on a kind of serious heavy duty case probably should be avoided if possible, I'm definitely feeling a bit meh now,.. but at least it's over, |

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
^^ Glad it's all over, Mr Nobody. I've been on jury service too and got selected to be on two juries spanning the two weeks, so I can completely understand. It's exhausting and emotionally taxing. They definitely need to make mental health support instantly available for juries. Hope you're okay x

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
^^^ I don't think I would be able to cope with doing jury duty, I hope they never pick me, even the travelling there every day would make me anxious.

Re: What kind of anxiety have you had today?
I’ve had bum pop anxiety. I ate a chocolate tortilla - well tried three bites and decided to stop because partly it was bland and partly because I thought it might cause the painful bloating to eat too much white breaded stuff. Lo and behold it did. I got trapped wind and bloating, but ever so mild because it was only three bites. I couldn’t really relax into the positions in the class because I was bloated and in case it released me!
