Hi,
Just a minor one but something that keeps bothering me. I use the https version of the board, and like to keep updated on threads I've posted in by email subscription. The problem is that the link to the latest post in the email notification uses plain http. When I click this link I can read the post but I am not logged in anymore (because I'm logged in on the https version) so it doesn't register as the post being read and I get no further emails about the thread. Also this messes up my firefox history so when I use autocomplete in the URL bar I never know which version of the site I'll get. Would it be possible to change the links to https? As an aside, the https version of the board works flawlessly, there's no reason to keep the http version around anymore. It would be better to make http 302 redirect to https. We shouldn't be sending passwords in plaintext these days. Sophie |

That would be beneficial having https linked in the actual email.
Have you got the HTTPS Everywhere extension installed? |

Hi Genovese
I did have it installed and it worked well for SAUK. It made quite a few sites not work so I uninstalled it a while ago. But it is definitely an option for those that want to force HTTPs ![]() |
