if there is a weird smell and someone says "you'll get used to it" ..do you take that to mean that your nose/brain will get used to it to the point that you won't smell it at all anymore, or that you'll just get used to the smell being there, but still smell it?

i do most of my computer shopping at https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/, unless it's a stick of ram or something, then probably amazon. i'd still look at amazon for laptops though as i've become somewhat reliant on all the reviews other customers leave

Really? I've never heard of anyone craving that horrible mess before?

Bet you'd find plenty at the tip!

Was the new series of Black Mirror really a disappointment or has my nitpicking/griping now exceeded any level of sense or justification?

I know 0 about giving birth but when women are doing it do they really sound like they're having an orgasm? Or is this just bad acting on TV. Surely they should sound like they're in a bit more pain

How long does it generally take for a removal company to take your furniture and put it in a new place? Say, if you're a single person with a single person's amount of stuff, and you're moving about a 20 minute drive down the road?

About 1 hour and 30 mins.

Source: I've moved 3 times since 2013.

Was just thinking that, although men get weird cravings too,
Sometimes I could really do with a can of Irn Bru,

Xmas cake is amazing though, I have to say

^^ Thanks, Jam That doesn't sound too bad. I'm building up moving day as a full-on day of terrors, but it'll probably just be a brief morning of terrors instead.

Is £40 for a tyre too cheap?
Got to replace my 2 front tyres, dad's found a garage that does them for £40. He is an ex MOT inspector so I guess he knows what he's doing?

^^ That sounds about right for a budget brand, you can get really cheap tyres for about £30 or less but I wouldn't want one on my car.
When you get to the other end of the spectrum and buy brand names like Michelin or Pirelli you are just paying for the name.

I think it depends if they are part worn. I always buy a brand new tyre I don't think it's worth taking the risk to save a few quid.

^ Jesus christ, why would you want leggings to ever go out?

Much like people with social anxiety, leggings will never go out.

I'm constantly having to correct messages/texts because auto-correct changed it to something else or because i'm a fast typer, it can't keep up thus freezes and inputs wrong word. This is a nightmare when the other person is also a fast typer, it's on a free app like whatsapp thus in a stream of messages, they are a banter King/Queen and you are essentially in a very sad competition trying to beat them to the punch...only you've already lost because the witty text you just sent makes zero sense because nothing about it is right or how you implied in any way shape of form. I need to turn it off but haven't bothered to see if you can. But, I do think it makes us lazier. I sometimes even find myself second guessing a word I already knew how to spell, because I see the predicted word appear below and my brain freezes as if I didn't know the word. It reminds me of those language games where the voice would repeat what you just said (which was correct) but it sounds so much better with their voice that you feel wrong.
