I went out for a meal with my family yesterday and the waitress had a stinking cold. She looked like she was gonna collapse. Her eyes were red and streaming and she had some livid looking cold sores around her nose and mouth. Can't imagine why her boss didn't send the poor girl back home to bed, plus on a purely selfish level I didn't much relish the thought of eating apple pie and snot custard. Now entered the second week of havining a sore Neck so taken copious amounts of painkillers again. Oh the joys of getting old ![]() |

I'm defo getting worse in social interactions and my phone manner has gone from embarrassing to god awful
I'm not buying it when people s ay if you keep doing stuff it gets easy, I know on paper it "should" work like that..but in some cases..its utter bollocks There are 3 things in life I struggle with..(3 off the top of my head anyway) all 3 of which I have daily exposure to..all 3 I'm no better several years later, **** it ![]() |

I have a date with a guy tomorrow evening who sounds, at least on text, like trouble.
The more I search elsewhere the more perfect my b.f seems. Got eye strain at the moment from all the close reading and screen glare. Had my eyes tested and thank god they're fine. |

Not too worried about your opinion P but thanks for the encouragement.
He doesn't know but if he loved me he would marry me, he won't and I can't really hack the break-up. I'm not sure what I'm doing but don't most people think that when THEY do something bad, it's not really that bad? It started in earnest after we broke up so it was legitimate, but then I carried on. After Uni (when I'm 34) I'll probably be ready to settle down and he's made it clear that won't happen with him. |

Dandelion - he doesn't deserve this just because he doesn't want to get married. Lots of people don't want to get married. He's made it clear to you that he doesn't want marriage - maybe it's a personal thing and he would feel the same way no matter who he was with. He's not lied to you, he's put it all out on the table for you to take it or leave it. It really isn't fair to pretend you are okay with it and then date behind his back. Why can't you hack the break up? I am sure that it won't be as bad as you think. It sounds like you might be happy to have some freedom. I think you should explain to him that if he doesn't want to get married then you are going to leave him. It's unfair to do this. He should be allowed to move on too if his girlfriend doesn't want him.

Really tired. Felt so nauseous last night so at least that is gone. Throat still hurts. Hope these antibiotics start working soon.

Very upset that I've lost a friend.
I hadn't really talked to them for a couple of months, as I needed a break from their over-sensitive paranoid behaviour. I contacted them to ask them if they wanted to meet up, but it ended up in a massive argument. I stayed calm and polite all the time. However, after I finished work I saw a nasty message from them and just had to retaliate. I probabably shouldn't have stooped to their level, but I lost all patience and had to reply. Anyway, its quite clearly ended the friendship. A psychiatrist could write a thesis based on the messages that were sent to me. |
