Sick and shook up reading about this fire News reports seem to be so much more graphic than they used to be. Lots of eyewitness reports of people trapped inside at windows, screaming for help. It's heartbreaking and I can't stop imagining what that would feel like for those poor people

^ Yeah I had to turn the coverage off,it`s just horrifically graphic as you say. Sometimes in recent years it feels like the TV media gets off on tragedies `here we see the mother of four who lost her children *zooms in on face to reallllly see the crying*`,ugh . Surely you can report the facts on the news without horribly intrusive sensationalist upsetting coverage,it wasn`t always like this (at least on say BBC news). TV news now seems to have become the joke/satire that was Drop the Dead Donkey,Damian Day would be feted now if he`d been real

I'm having a shite day. Missed an important appointment this morning and went to an assessment for a new job this afternoon, which I completely ballsed up. I really needed this job

Utterly horrible and quite numb today after watching the news through the night. There was a fire in a tower close to where I live a couple of years ago, and although everyone got out I've seen the lasting effect it's had on people who lived there. I can't even imagine what those poor people in London went through last night and what the survivors and witnesses will go through in future. From what I saw on TV, it was horror beyond belief. My heart goes out to everyone involved.

Since I'm being called to the housing office next wednesday i've dug out my mini tape recorder and recording any of it as it happens. GP has also been told to explain my condition. I've told social work that my end-terr neighbour even if it was meant with concern needs to start minding her own business if I have to stay here meantime. That should show SS i've developed 'balls-ie testicles' when necessary five years in. Sigh. Its further not nice my nbors are doing this to me when dad is terminally ill and they know it. I was stupid and told them about that direct. Stupid woman that I am. Dealing with hyperactive screaming from 6-8 year olds outback just now and there is sod all i can do about it unless the parents are seen actually physically abusing them. Its more them shouting and being angry at the kid that I bother about. Anyhoo, lovely common riding celebrations to get through til sunday doing quite well so far but that boy thats loud is going thru my head just now. Apologies for long posts but its better out than in. Re-discovered chat too.

Urggh it's just to hot for me. I was down on the coast for about an hour in the afternoon which was quite pleasant but that aside it's 'orrible.

I have spray on 50 SPR lotion. I don't tan, at all but what I seem to get is more freckles which is not as good.

Yeah don't sit out too long without some on, as it can truly ****ing hurt. I can often survive about 4 hours in full on uk sun with minimal pain, but as I'm still scarred from a few bad burns in my childhood while on holiday, I don't like to risk it.

stupid common riding weekend to get thru now. the usual crap was building up today boths sides hammering from bitch on end and kids running wild outback and next doors kid screaming indoors. i'm so tired i cant ****ing rest at my house. i got out at lunchtime after hearing a loud screaming session from kiddy next door. purchased book festival tickets for an event in another town and got out of here until 9pm tonight. I'll get shouting from stupid adults for most of tonight. I've told teen what to expect tom morning. once its over i'm going to gala again to take in more book festival friday and saturday. hate coming back here at night but not got a lot of choice in the matter. dont think housing officer is very happy. she picked up its not right i'm having to escape home. she has a point. also booked a musical event saturday evening to cheer myself up. learned quite quickly that that mother of mine wont help me with this so have to do it myself or go into a deeper depression. sigh. adults that dont understand are pointing and staring at my house a son and his mother looking up at my bedroomw window last night, and after me gtg back today an idiot bloke pointing at my front window from the famous street opposite. small minded bloody bigoted mentality. and i'm off.....
