^ Omg Kooky, I would be so stressed I hate having workmen in even with tons of warning, and having my mum answer the door while I hide in another room.

Hope your alright . I'd have had a right panic attack. I don't know how anyone can think that's right legally or morally.

I'm feeling a lot better than I have in a long while both physically and mentally. Least for today. Been to animal sanctuary and had a really nice mellow morning with the horses and goats.

^ Thats so nice to hear Mo, you deserve all the good things in life for taking care of all of those lovely animals at the sanctuary

@ Nanuq - Thank you as always for your kind words. I haven't stepped outside today to enjoy the sunshine, but there's always tomorrow

@ Kooky Monster - I can only echo what everyone else has said here. It's just wrong, wrong, wrong for those guys to enter your home like that! I would have freaked out BIG time if that had happened to me

Had another nice day. Went to the other sanctuary in the morning. Then drove up into the South Downs and went for my 2nd covid jab. I was told Hugh Bonneville is one of the volunteers at that Covid hub/centre so I had high hopes of being directed to my vaccine by Lord Grantham! Sadly not he was no where to be seen today.
Met my friend J and L afterwards so we sat by the pond with some hot drinks and had a catch up, was really nice. Haven't seen either of them since end of summer? last year.

^^ That would have been good, to be directed to your jab by Lord Grantham! Shame he wasn't there. Good you got the second one anyway

Yes I'm glad I'm fully vaccinated, I feel lucky really as I'm 42 with no physical health issues, so should have been further down the list/line.

Mo, that sounds like a lovely day. Glad you’ve had your second jab too.

I met up with some friends today in a pub garden. It was lovely to see them, but I really struggled and found it overwhelming. I was very quiet and didn’t say much, which must have come across as rude as I hadn’t seen them for a long time. I find conversations a lot more difficult than I used to.
I’m very lucky that I’m somehow able to have friends, and I don’t want to ruin it.

^ I think many people seem to be struggling to get back into socialising again, even people who don't usually have any anxiety about it. They were doing a segment about it on the radio the other day and people were saying they'd forgotten how to do it and they couldn't think of things to talk about. I'm sure your friends appreciated you being there and didn't mind if you were a bit quiet.

@ Mo - It's good to hear that you had a good day

@ Tembo - As Dougella says, I'm sure your friends were just glad that you agreed to meet up with them. If they are good friends, and they sound that they are, they will know that your quietness certainly wasn't a sign of rudeness and will understand that it's stressful socialising again after the horrendous past year we've all had. I think everyone is feeling strange coming out of lockdown and reconnecting with people they haven't seen for a long time

Feeling calmer than I have been. This latest manic episode seems to have passed. It might be finally time to go to the doctors about this, it’s not something that affects me most of the time but perhaps there’s something that can be done about when I do have these periods of self destruction. I’ve never had much luck with doctors though.

You're older than me (although you don't look a day over 18).

Do you think you might be bipolar?

Feeling bloody marvellous at seeing the Tory Party imploding and our dear leader Blow Job being hoisted on his own petard by vengeful Mekon Cummings (via trip to Barnard Castle first, obvs).

^^ Be careful about using bleach as that can affect you quite badly. For mold you can use washing up liquid and water. I hope you can get some of the issues sorted!

No but my mum thought I was. No I have borderline personality disorder and I get mood swings. It’s alright, it’s manageable, until it’s not.

I didn't know you have borderline, that can't be much fun. Would explain the low mood though.

^It's weird that modern toilets seem to have got smaller but people in general are getting bigger, and plumbing doesn't seem to be nearly as strong as it used to be. I used to live in a house that was built in the 50s and even with six people using one bathroom we never had a problem with the toilet, that plumbing was strong!

^ A cynical Susan I think it might have something to do with trying to save water, but it ends up with people needing to flush modern toilets multiple times anyway.

Tired and a bit crummy. Wondering whether to have a bubble bath; half thinking of going for a walk in the rain. I love rain.

Like I am longing for simpler times. Even with music, pre-soundcloud days where it was just listening and exploring music for fun and not reposting or anything. My music taste was probably more outdated then, as to current music, but maybe more unique.

I'm so annoyed and ashamed

A few of us from work went out on friday. I spent friday night vomiting and all of yesterday feeling like I was about to die and couldn't even keep a mouthful of water down.

I've not done the post drinking vomit game for about 15 years.

It probably doesnt help I'm still on tablets and I've not touched alcohol in a good year.

I dread to think what I've done/said..I don't even remember getting home, this is the sort of shit you pull as a teenager, not in your 30's

^ Aw, don't feel to bad, you obviously paid for it afterwards! Depending on what medication you're on it might have made your reaction to alcohol a lot worse?

Maybe..I mean clearly we all had a similar mindset because it was an eye watering bill at the end (to which my card got declined and I have no idea why)

I'm just annoyed, I had 3 days off work this weekend and I've completely lost one..I couldn't really do anything more than vaguely watch youtube.

Sigh, it's my own stupid fault, no one forced me to do it..just thought I was past being a numpty
