Company I work for are in dispute over pay and conditions. It really doesn't look like things are going to work out. A lot of workers are saying they will leave the job.
I don't agree with the changes but the last thing I'd do is leave and look for another job.
Do people really think it's that easy to get another job? We are not that skilled.
I hate the way the world works. Greedy fat cats get all the cream and the people that do the hard graft on the floor get nothing,so feeling a bit crap

Depressed, i had a bad dream

Depressed. I probably shouldn't have reduced my meds but I wanna see if it improves some skin problem I have. Also terrified that I've ruined my life by not getting an education and never having a job etc. I feel like I've left it too late at 27 and now my life is basically over and unfixable haha

You can get back into education or a job at any age, seriously! It might take some time and different steps but it is possible. People often start with some voluntary work as a first step.

I feel like I need a job coach, but not one from the jobcentre, just someone who checks on me twice a day and gives me up to date advice.

I don't think I'm too bothered about growing up anymore. It was mostly about ego, and a little bit about 'in case I have a baby I need to be an adult'. If I have to take on some major responsibility at some point I suppose I'll grow up then.

I remember when my frontal lobes matured though. I was sitting there, about 23, and I suddenly thought 'I feel mature'. I just felt different. Unfortunately my life was in the process of turning to shit, so I haven't really lived it while feeling mature at the same time.

Actually I've seen some adults say 'I've got three kids, a spouse and a full time job and I still don't feel grown up' so there you go.

I doubt I'll ever grow up. And not in a cool permanently amazed at the world like a child kind of way. I'm cynical, jaded yet barely functioning as a grown adult.
I'm stuck in a developmental cul-de-sac with not enough outside cues to break out of it and no enthusiasm, hope or discipline to change.

Miserable, i hate being single.

I love singing. I sing a lot. So it's been getting me down that for about a month I haven't been able to sing due to throat/vocal cord issues. I found a video from a speech and language therapist about vocal cord massages. The massages are working, which I'm really pleased about, but I dare not sing because they're not quite fully healed. I've also stopped drinking anything caffeinated. Funny the things that can get us down.

Do you like karaoke? I do hehe. Me and my sister used to do hallway karaoke. We'd put a specific song on and the other would immediately stop what they were doing come running into the hallway for hallway karaoke.
