I'm feeling a little less worried tonight as my son was seen by a Doctor today in A&E and has started on some treatment. A chest scan and an X-ray revealed that the lining of his heart was very inflamed - probably due to his recent viral infection - so hopefully he will soon start to feel better before going back to Uni next week. It's a sad state of affairs when people are forced to go to A&E because they can't get a prompt appointment with their GP

Physically anxious but not about anything specific, which is the sort that irritates me the most. So, anxious and peed off . I think my messed up sleep is exacerbating it, and vice versa. It's a fun little loop.

@ girlinterrupted - I hope you manage to get some better sleep soon as lack of it certainly exacerbates the anxiety. As I am no longer able to use the benzos to help me sleep my doctor has prescribed Phenergen. It's an antihistamine that causes drowsiness and I think it is maybe helping me a little bit so perhaps something worth considering

@ Stepford - I hope you will soon feel up to going for your ultrasound

It's another achy wakey this morning. Been decorating the flat... slowly. I found some energy from somewhere and so started on the lounge cupboard. Looks nice what I managed to get done, I'm going to have to pay for it though.

Was told about a possible family holiday in August, which means 6 or 7 months of guaranteed worrying I don't want to be awkward about it so whenever it gets brought up I'll have to act enthusiastic and not let slip that it secretly makes me want to die.

It's hard not to think isolating myself as much as possible is a good idea when being offered a free holiday can basically ruin my life for half a year.

Lots of pain all over. One of the things about fibromyalgia is you don't always know how much you have overdone things. Sometimes it can be a couple of days later when the aches and pains start. I could do with speech to text on Windows 7 (ok,ok I know) like android has. Anyone know of a good program?

You could insist you're me the whole time until it gets weird and upsetting. In return, I will absolutely pump up your cactus and make sure your tyres don't die
