Pretty shocked after nearly having a head on collision, by a car that was overtaking on a blind bend and must have been going about 70mph. I had absolutely no choice but to swerve and hit the pavement at 40mph, and it’s damaged my car.

I’m so surprised that a driver of a white Range Rover with blackened windows would behave in such a way….

God, that's awful,

Don't suppose you have a dash-cam?
If you have, you can send footage directly to the police now,
More and more motoring convictions are going that way

I used to have two, but they kept working loose and falling down,.. I keep meaning to re-atrach them,
They can be handy for insurance cases etc.

^^ No I don’t sadly, but im certainly going to look in to it now. There’s so many absolute silly sausages (im not in the basement so need to watch my language) on the road it will be worth it in case of insurance claims and police reports etc

Thank you SpectralOwls and biscuits

My mum is like 'you need a retail job' how else will you learn to be more comfortable around people? Well actually mum I've had TWO retail jobs and it did barely anything for me, the job I most flourished was actually an office position with two good guys.

^ I have found that those with the least amount of knowledge or experience are the ones most often give advice. My mum sometimes gives simple advice (well meaning but annoying) which is often met with sarcasm like "oh my god mum, I'm fifty eight and I never thought about that bleeding obvious remedy...!".

Better for having some down time. The smorning at the sanctuary was far to peopley (is that a word?). Normally I'm 1st in and open everything up, let the pony and donk out etc.. Today, God, S (the owner) was aready down, D who pops in early to med a cat he's going to foster had got caught by S so they were chatting to which i got dragged into. We had a vet and her assistant already in vaccinating all the cats, then a new volunteer who S had forgotten about turned up who somehow got dumped on to me to sort out, and then the other volunteers arrived (normally at this point I've started on the cats and am in my own little bubble). So what felt like 400 conversations later I finally got started around 10am

S sat and wouldn't stop talking to me, then the new volunteer kept following me around and wouldn't stop talking to me. M (who is a lovely 14 yr old) launched into all the troubles with her friendship group when I finally escaped the other two. Normally i don't mind but I was already over talked by this point!. Then i had a catch up with C which is fine as were friends but then the new volunteer just kept non stop talking at me after that as she had nothing to do. The tea break was her non stop and then she wanted to help me with the pony and donk - which is fine (though I much prefer working on my own tbh) but then I got non stop about her past equestrian experience! Just about to leave when S came bounding out the house with her friend R (who I do know and bless him he came out and fixed my car last year) but i really did feel like - i am never going to escape!!

Was very glad to get home to the cat!

I feel like I'm not good enough. I need to be funnier, better looking, smarter, not so boring etc.

I don’t think so. How do you be more this, more that?

Interview today. Don’t think it’s a job I want. Will get an assortment of back pains for weeks. But I need something for my sanity. I’m running out of walks.

Yes mother! Garden centre. It's got a reasonable approach- unpaid trial one day, paid trial 2 days. But no holidays from Jan to June. That kind of rubs me up the wrong way.

Not bad. Survived a healthy eating group. Was very last min but went. All sat round in a small circle (well 4 of us and the group leader). I was definitly better than I would have been 5 years ago.

Now I just have to follow through and eat crap like oat cakes and carrot juice
