wasn't so bad, two good guys and an amazing free pizza for lunch. Can't complain about that! The work I have reservations about, but the only way you know is by doing.

Meh. Broke my sleep. Went to bed earlyish (for me) meaning I woke up at 4 something, Then fell asleep again at 5.30 ish. Feel worse now

Also got group supervision the smorning as were down a line manager were giving this try. Not looking forward to it. It's on zoom as far as I know (well I am!) but might be blended I guess.

That's horrible, not having enough sleep and having to work. I remember, when I could work, trying to stay awake at my wood-machining job so I didn't lose and fingers or worse. Being a night person and having to get up at 5:30 isn't much fun.

Feeling confused about my mental health.
It's like I have a gradual build up to feeling okay for a few days and then all of a sudden bump, I feel like the rug is pulled from beneath my feet and I have to start all over again.
I keep an eye on external factors that could be influencing my mood but nothing seems to tally up, so wtf is going on in my brain?!

There's a public footpath in my village that gets really muddy and slippery, it's actually unpassable.
I was getting fed up of sliding everywhere on it that I reported it to the council. I dunno, maybe they can put gravel on it to make it better.

Anyway, I put a post up on the villages fb page about it.
And wow, got so much hate for it!
Got comments like
' what do you expect it's winter's
Are you seriously complaining about this?!
Walk somewhere else.....
What do you expect the council to do?....

I'm just trying to make things a little better, didn't deserve all that

I didn't reply to anyone, infact I've deleted the post now.

Just feel stupid now

I always thought that when you contact the council about work needing done that it was via their own website and so, all done relatively anonymously, or at least privately,
How did those people in Facebook know that you had reported the poor state of the public walkway?

Aww, magnolia. Sorry that your attempt at making your local area a nicer, safer place to stroll along was met with rahhh. I bet loads of people who walk along it feel similarly. You tend to find people in local Facebook groups either love to be the trouble, or love to watch the trouble!

Hopefully the local council get back to you. We have a local councillor and he gives out his phone number. They're usually pretty good at knowing who to talk to to get things done, so you might get more luck contacting them as they'll hold more weight.

landlord 'can I read your meter on monday'. He read and emptied it LAST week. The moment I'm finding work he wants to snoop. Takes the mickey. In my view landlords should not be going around people's spaces when they're out.
