Oh bless you I find it really difficult to make decisions too.

In this heat it might be better taking your mums car as if you get stuck in traffic you can stick the air con on and if you have more room in your mums car it means more space for you to pack everything you need and more room for you to move about a bit in.

Can you not share the driving in your mums car ? Or are you not insured ?

And I keep thinking I've made a decision then crying because it will be the wrong one and ruin the weekend and the sky will fall in and everyone will DIE.

^ Hmmm, well the advantage of your car is obviously the full tank of fuel and it's packed, also you can share the driving - in my opinion that clinches it because I detest driving.

May sound daft but if I can't make a decision I just toss a coin, it's save me hours of procrastinating and I shall be doing it tomorrow morning if I can't make up my mind whether to go to Plymouth.

Oh did you mean "packed" as in literally you have finished and packed all your stuff ? Or as in its packed and there is no room for nothing else? I assumed you meant you had no space left to pack your remaining items.

Ive actually heard that if you don't know what to do you should throw a coin as in the time it takes you to throw the coin you will make the decision yourself anyway.
Which is probably true.

I wish I hadn't opened my mouth either haha.
I don't know if I have taken what had been said wrong, in which case I would have to change my mind and go with what you said.

Purple rose: Yes, most of the stuff is in my car.

D1662: I just asked R which car he thought we should take and he said it's up to me. Any advice is more helpful than that lol!

Everyone ninja posted and the arrows went wrong.

We were both trying to help but have probably given Fantastical a whole load more to think about.

Sorry Fantastical

I really should check what I type before I post it, my spelling always looks terrible but I blame predictive text for always changing what I type.

^^^ My car would definitely lose on speed! Especially if you'd seen it on some of the hills in Cornwall a while ago... Foot down flat, started up hill at about 75 - by the time I was at the top I was going about 45mph, with all the people I had just overtaken looking at me, thinking 'wtf'.

It is yellow though, so clearly the coolest car (although not literally!).

Hmm, sandy beaches, i know two of, but one is the Witterings and the other is near Emsworth and involves an hours walk to get to - don't fancy that do you? No, thought not. Wittering will be heaving tomorrow if the weathers anything like today :/
Normally I would, i'm too tired and at my dad's. :/ I may very well when I get home though

Yeah, West Wittering will be swarming tomorrow. Emsworth, I've been to Hayling Island and Havant before but not Emsworth. Stayed at a hotel just over the bridge as you enter the Island. Didn't realise there was a proper sandy beach out that way/in the area. probs a bit far for a day out on my tod..

Evening got off to a bad start and now it just seems to be getting worse. Argh. I'm a ridiculous person.

Stressing about stuff going on in family that I'm pretty much powerless to do anything about.

Just argh.

Constantly cycling through events from the past thinking my life could be different if I'd made alternative decisions (although I'm me so I guess I could only really have done anything the way I would have done them, if that makes sense).

Yeah, Emsworth is pretty much in that Havant/Hayling area, it's a lovely little town(?). The beach i'm talking of, although out of the way, is worthwhile the walk. I go infrequently.

The last time i went with company, i took a mate and his gf (with their dogs). I was hyping the beach a bit on the way and when we got there the wind really got up, to such an extent that it was blowing the top sand up into the air, which completely ruined it!

Aw, well, we weren't planning on stopping anyway.

What were you doing on your stay at the hotel? Have you decided what to do tomorrow/Saturday?

What were you doing on your stay at the hotel? Have you decided what to do tomorrow/Saturday?
that sounds like me - bigging up somewhere only to get there and find something wrong/different.

I went to my friends sisters wedding reception. She was a bridesmaid but wanted some company other than her family and sisters friends so invited me (she was single at the time). I got snuck into her room to stay and her dad paid for me to join the breakfast. I traveled back by myself so had a wander round Havant etc..

I've decided to head out towards Brighton and see where I get too. Had quite the argument with my dad last night or rather he was being nasty/abusive to me. Wan't to get out of here before the carer turns up, i'm sick of being looked at like a weirdo for still being here (1st thing in morn and last thing at night) not that my dad can comprehend the problem. What I really wan't to do is go home to bed I look dreadful - lack of sleep.

Oh, cool, 'sneaking'.. as in not paying? Tut, Mo ... full of surprises!

I wouldn't feel too weird about it, you're there for your dad who clearly needs help. I'm glad you fought for the extra help too, it must be overwhelming for you at this moment.

My Mum's dad is beginning to need help, but she's a carer so it's second nature to her, totally routine. Still, it's time out of her life and she's busy enough as it is. My Dad's parents are still just about managing together. I worry though ... Dad's sisters live close by (to them), so he won't be getting dragged about.

Well, have a good time in Brighton, enjoy your wandering, watch those seagulls - make sure you get an ice cream!!

Why do people keep uploading black squares onto SAUK?
I'm assuming they are meant to be YouTube videos.

Also thinking a huge amount of 'what ifs' today

@Biscuits,
Thanks for the encouragement
I haven't given up on going just yet, what I think I should do is write down all my negative thoughts today (if I can find enough paper) and then afterwards go through them and see which ones if any were right.
The biggest problem I will have to deal with will be public transport, I haven't been on a bus since I was at school, 14 long years ago, and that's just made me feel really old.
