I haven't won the lottery this weekend so now I'm hoping the bus to work drives straight into a portal to another world with dragons and all that cool stuff, hopefully the two attractive teachers who usually use the same bus as me will be on it too.

^ Aww, that's not fair, everyone should have cake on their birthday

I'm wishing I could stop caring about someone but as hard as I try I can't
There's not really anything I can do to help them now, they just have to make their own way I guess.

^ Thinking of you @Silent Treatment

I only see the majority of my relatives at funerals or the occasional wedding.

people just don't want to be friends. & women can be so mean to each other if anyone ever did ask to meet up I'd think I was being set up!
there's lots of stuff I would like to do with a friend if I had one & my bf says he will do everything with me I don't need anyone else but it's just not the same

Well at least you might have a nice boyfriend at least. Unfortunately it doesn't seem that people are worth the effort in the end. There is a depressing reason you feel you get on better with males... have you thought that you might actually be fairly attractive (which I guess could be a positive) but anxious so women feel they can get an advantage over you by rejecting you? I think it can be a combination of feeling intimidated and sensing weakness.

^ No you seem nice. Maybe you're not correct about yourself though? Obviously status and looks matter to men and other women. Why do you think you need a social life beyond your boyfriend? There are opportunities to meet new people, I know people can be difficult, but maybe just stick to the people you know are decent. I completely understand this, but joining clubs or participating in hobbies that involve other people with the similar interests could potentially be a way of meeting new people. I understand that this can be hard.

I bumped into my old support worker just before xmas where he said to give him a ring to meet for a catch up/coffee. I wasn't brave enough to ring but txt him a couple of wks ago and so am meeting him tomorrow at Costa. Now I'm thinking 'oh crumbs!'. It all seems like a good idea when it's weeks away

The idiots I work with are making me really angry again, I'm sure nobody else in the world would meekly put up with the rubbish I do without having walked out of that place years ago.
