![]() I think it'll still be taught in lessons, just not used on the test. Thankfully I picked up reversing straight away, I can't understand why people struggle with it, but I do have very good spacial awareness (I did mount the curb once, but I was trying something from Youtube ![]() ![]() You've now got to drive independently for 20 mins instead of 10, 4 in 5 tests using sat nav which the examiner provides and sets up. Parking forward/reversing out of a bay, parking on the right hand side of the road then reversing two car lengths and rejoining traffic has been added as possible manoeuvres. Two car safety questions have been changed to 'Tell me' how to check tyres/brakes/etc before driving (no showing), and the 'Show me' is now how to use horn/demist/headlights/etc while driving. I might wait until the new one as it's much easier ![]() |

walking, walking. They say about all these middle aged not walking, I'm facing same problem in my 30s with 9-5 job. I just can't find a time to walk, theres morning and evening and I can't get up early enough in the morning, and too tired in the evening. Add on to that, theres nowhere really that exciting to walk. Maybe I could look into walking machines or something.
Maybe I need this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QpLUKGDFVM |

My instructor always told me the best time to take your test is the lull between xmas and New Year as the roads are really quiet. My advice is try for bad weather! I did mine in a mini snow storm in Worthing, had to drive really slowly so had lots of time to think, no emergency stop as it was too dangerous and he seemed to go easy on manoeuvring. ![]() |

Do many people get into their first relationship after 30? Seems a bit weird to do this, but I feel like I'm wasting my time even trying atm, sadly.

Well I think women find my lack of progress in life up to this point repulsive. It is like 10x harder, and not going to be worth the effort in the end. Maybe part of the problem is me not trusting anyone or giving anyone a chance? Still, I don't see the point in making myself feel worse from rejection.
I think a lot of women can get a much better 'deal' for my age range. I don't see it happening any time soon. |

![]() I doubt if I post much that is particularly interesting to anyone else ![]() Why not give it a try? Express how you're feeling, ask for advice, support others who are struggling, play some games, or just tell us what you're wearing or what you're having for lunch! You might like it, or it might not be for you, either is okay ![]() |

Mon-fri sensation. The 'thrills of Saturday/Sunday'. Everyone goes through, the beginning of euphoria last thing Friday, then you get home and you enter a kind of confusion what on earth is the euphoria about. I think, it's not so much being off work that is the thrill, but more the escape from mundaneness, repetition. The license to do your own thing.

After years of working in jobs where the majority of the public treat you like crap (retail and parcel delivery) it's nice to be working in a job where I'm nearly always treated well with cups of tea, decent tips and today free Domino's. Maybe people aren't so bad after all?

Can I really justify £600-700+ on the soon to be announced latest Millennium Falcon Lego set.
I'm 31 for christ sake..however I did start to get back into Technic this year (and proceeded to blow £500 on flagship sets ![]() £600-700 is an awful lot for some damn plastic bricks..but then surely I'm the target audience? cant picture many kids getting that for a present! Also its Star Wars....and ..its Lego *squeals |
