Hello Everyone
Hi everyone!
My names Aly  I've suffered with social anxiety since I was about 12/13 years old. Im not 23 :/ Thankfully, my anxiety was much worse back then, as I couldnt even leave my bedroom, and speak in front of family, I was terrified of everything, I even stopped talking at all for a short time and i suffered panic attacks which were awful, as some of you may know. I have coped reasonably well with anxiety from that point onwards, but am at the point now where I would desperately like to live my life, the way I want to in my mind, with no anxiety. Its exhausting! So I am on the self improvement hunt to rid myself of anxiety once and for all. I have my own reasons for not seeking medical help, so Im going it alone! But hopefully I can meet or chat to people in similar situations as myself, and we can help each other along to path to freedom! Few facts about me: I am engaged ( i did notice a thread someone had started about how you cant have social anxiety if you have a relationship- this is VERY wrong - its amazing what alcohol can do you know, I have started every single one of my past relationships with the boost of alcohol...and IM definitely NOT saying that is the right way to go, because due to this every past relationship has been started under falseness...which is very sad, but i couldnt of done it otherwise! I have a son who is going on 3 years old and he is the reason I get up in a morning! I have NO friends around me at this moment as I am in a new area away from friends and family...which is maybe why im finding my anxiety very difficult at the moment! Deep down I am a fun-loving, giggly, happy person...but social anxiety has squashed my real self into a box and wont set me free! Anyway, HI everyone and message me for a chat! Aly xxx

Hello Aly
 Congratulations on the engagement.  Your little one will help you with your SA because we tend to take risks for our kids that we wouldn't for ourselves. My three year old is helping me at the moment and he has no idea...There is no better therapy than him.
