not having something in common which makes conversation awkward in no time is what i find frustrating most when trying to make a friend.

like when i try to see if we share common interests, i fail miserably.. i don't know. i find myself listening to music/ enjoying shows that only really old people like.
like when i tell someone about a music/drama i like, i feel like they're like: (brother, seriously wtf?!)

and i have no taste in anything western, like western music/ films/TV series, etc.. i don't feel comfortable, nor find peace watching them since they're too foreign for my taste.

as if i'm destined to live in my own world.

about birds actually.. and feel free to correct me.

i mean it seems like the female bird is so well respected in the birds' world since the male shows what he can offer/shows his skills/beauty, etc, and the female has the choice whether to be his or not, unlike in cats, for example.

you can see how the male cat even attacking the female to mate by force, plus his instinct may drive him to kill kittens he hasn't fathered.

male lions do the same thing since mating rights in lions come with dominance. however, and due to ovulation being different than in humans, a lioness can actually decide 'when' and with which male she will have babies with. (she obviously always chooses the strong who will be able to save their babies.

about cats again, if you observe stray cats behavior (the males), very terrifying.

i don't know if it's only me, but when you watch a movie about, let's say, a serial killer , and the actor is "unknown" to you, you should find him more convincing than someone you see his face everyday, you even know who he is married to/ the car he drives, etc..

^matriarchal indeed.

but still, i would rather be a female bird than a female lion.
i have always viewed lion males as jerks, though.

the entire birds/cats comparison above basically came to my mind while watching this cat video:

Why do Pringles in the little mini sized tubs never taste the same as the same flavour in the standard size?

Also now I'm wondering if I already said this, or am just remembering thinking about it. Welp.

You make a good point, Perhaps! I especially like magpies. They've definitely got game when it comes to wooing the birds! What with decorating their nests with shiny objects. I once saw a photo of a magpie with a Rolex! And let's put it this way, I wouldn't have said no! I also think fish have an interesting mating strategy. Where they just go about their fish day and then just spawn away! It makes you wonder if human civilisation would be more harmonious if we were the same way.

"Any more canapes, Barbara? Those fried pickles were delish!"

*Spray*
*Zzzzzzzzz*

Although I could be wrong!

wow so cool the magpies and fish example, Chess&Junkfood

this is maybe strange, but another reason to envy them is their small size. i have always thought of us humans having big bodies as a huge burden.

I feel a bit stupid, but I rarely take medication. It says on the packet not to take more than four tablets in 24 hours. I’ve taken four in a 24 hour period. Can I continue taking them because it’s a new 24 hour period?

I think so 4 every 24 hours is one tablet every 6 hours (I had to use the calculator on my laptop to work that out, number dyslexia stinks)

Are they OTC tablets, or prescribed by your doctor?

Thanks, darlses. They're OTC from the pharmacist. Silly me should have asked how many days to take them for but I think it's as many days as needed and there's not many in the box, posssibly five day's worth. In the end, I decided to stop taking them because my ear is now playing up so I don't want to take anything that effects that. This is all really upsetting me now and I can't wait to be well again!

Did what it says on the packet. Put some damp kitchen paper in a tub. Put seeds on top. Covered seeds with some damp kitchen paper. It's been 2 Days now and nothing.
Have I done it right?
It's by the window. I'm giving it light a water, what more does it want! I'm I being impatient cos I thought they're meant to grow by 2days....Christ even a five year old can do this ...but me...oh no ... useless

^ you should see signs of life soon - maybe on Thursday or Friday, they should start sprouting. Take off the top layer of paper because that will prevent them from growing and make it dark so they will go yellow. Make sure the under towel is saturated with water.

imagine how much salt would cost if it was so rare?
more expensive than diamonds?

imagine your food with no salt!. i like how people always speak of how eating raw Vs cooked food as a drastic turning point in in human history, yet everyone ignores the role salt plays in totally changing the taste of food.

if i had to choose between fire/uncooked food and salt, i would agree to eat all my food raw, but salt is a must. and i'm not even a person who likes salty food, but man, a pinch of salt changes everything.
