On the way to Brighton, my sister and I drove past Stonehenge and thought maybe we should look. It’s rully expensive, so we gave it a miss! You can see it from the road.

Stonehenge - final answer.

Oh I want to go Stonehenge again, although I don’t think you can go up close to the stones unless it’s summer or winter solstice which is rubbish.

I've been to most of the UK places I want to see.
Maybe Exeter? I've not been there, I think.
Or Canterbury, though I expect I have been there, but I don't remember.
Does The Isle Of Man count?

Hahah sorry I completely misread this thread. I thought it was places you never want to go to!

I should have put the final bracket.

Isle of Man anxiouslondner I forgot that. Not sure why anyone would want to go Exeter though, other than for the cathedral and Roman walls. Mostly it’s an incredibly busy student city with massive traffic problems.

* oh it does have a nice river.

No where. I find the UK boring. Once you've seen one city, town, village and countryside, you've seen them all. The landscape is dull and lacks variety. I feel exactly the same about the wildlife here too.

I quite fancy visiting Skye,

It's in Scotland, where I live, so technically I want to visit where I live

I went to Exeter last year, it was quite nice but lots of walking, the cathedral was lovely but had to pay to go inside, would say its the nicest cathedral I've been too and worth a visit.

I agree.

I like how unashamedly England-centric the poll is though

I like that Slough has its own option. In fairness it does have a great Chinese restaurant and a really good kebab shop that does kebabs in naan bread.

I've never been to the Lake District and I'd quite like to for the pretty landscapes, but I can't help imagining all the towns being like Royston Vasey and I'll end up party to some ritual sacrifice behind a farm shop.

^ When I got lost once I ended up in Slough and that put me off from visiting, but I've heard I'm not missing much

It is tough travelling on your own with a brain that is a strong self-critic.
