It's a tad cold with some sun. It's a bit windy indoors.

^^^ only good things in that is if it carries on I get £25 CWP and I don't feel so guilty not going out.

BTW the heating where I live is communal so it doesn't cost me more.

Holy crap! Sat with my laptop on my lap and phone in hand when the lights and TV must have had a power surge?, I didn't see the lightning (other than the lights going weird) then a massive and I mean massive clap of thunder. I could actually feel the lightning through my body. Scared the bejesus out of me!

It's now apocalyptic rain and hail.

Well i'm glad it wasn't just me being OTT - on the village f/b group some people have had there router fried! Mine's ok but still that was some lightening. Apparantly there was a direct hit behind someone's house in the village.

I've never felt lightning go through me before (obviously only in a small way - other wise it would be me fried!).

@Mo34 Crikey! I would have had to change my kecks after that

Cor, it's windy out! It's bin day in Tubbsland and someone* in our street's wheelie bin has clearly toppled over, for I can hear tin cans clattering. Making a right old racket they are! Looked out the window just now and saw rubbish strewn across the street.
*Quite possibly ours, but I'm not going down there in my nightie to chase after it all. 🙈

^^ Thinking back to the time I chopped up a dildo and put it in the rubbish, I'd have had a sleepless night if I heard a bin topple and didn't investigate

^^ Same here. The flat I'm in now is really cozy most of the time so I don't need the radiator on in the bedroom (other rooms are heated). What the heck is a snood? Oh one of those, I used to used one of them when my neck was really painful. I'd rather be warm than cold...

Tonight it's a balmy 3.8 degrees here.
