Where Venetian Snares got some of his audio samples from.
While some are just TV shows (such as Absolutely Fabulous, Batman The Animated Series) some are from infamous recordings made of actual suicides or murders

I'm half-Irish with green eyes like my mum, I'm surprised at so many blue eyed people. I thought the stereotype of songs like "when Irish eyes are smiling" made me think of green eyes.

apparently green eyes is very high in Ireland, just behind blue eyes.

'Over half the population of Ireland has blue eyes and 77% of the Irish have “light eyes” (blue or green)'

Compared internationally- only 2% of the world has green eyes. Definitely interesting.

“From this we can conclude that all blue-eyed individuals are linked to the same ancestor,” said Professor Eiberg. “They have all inherited the same switch at exactly the same spot in their DNA.

Kinky aye.

I associate the Irish with striking blue eyes but they do all seem to love green so that would seem poetic that they have more green eyed folk.

My optician said light eyes are more at risk of diseases of the eye which surprised me. Mine are fine but super sensitive to light.

definitely fascinating.

New tidbit. Census has been done and for first time it has numbers of sexualities. Something like 1.3m are Gay, Lesbian, or Bisexual. And 250,000 are transgender.

This is not at all surprising if you think of the ancestry and climate of each country. There aren't many people in Portugal with blue eyes because the gene for brown eyes is dominant. The gene for blue eyes is a mutation, so there's less variation - hence the common ancestor.

My mum has brown eyes and my dad has blue eyes. As no one in my Mum's family has ever had blue eyes she doesn't carry the gene for blue eyes. I have brown eyes - and because of my dad, I carry the recessive gene for blue eyes. That means I can have a blue eyed baby with someone who has the genes for blue eyes.

I'm not entirely sure what my eye colour is, they're sort of a murky greenish-brown.

My gf has this rare thing called central heterochromia. Heterochromia is when you have two different eye colour, like David Bowie has one blue eye and the other brown, but central heterochromia is when you have two colours in each eye. So her eyes are blue with a brown around each pupil. What's kind of cool is that my kids have central heterochromia too, but weirdly there eye colour is green with brown around their pupils.

Example:

I suppose it's because you share some costs as a couple? That seems like a lot though!

That the boiler manufacturer "Vaillant" isn't "Valiant".

I've been calling it "Valiant" for years

That diesel nozzles are too big to fit in an unleaded tank - as I realised yesterday when I almost filled my car with diesel. Zoiks!
