^ Blimey, they'd never get away with an advert like that these days.

I've had a fair few Skodas - several Estelles, a Rapid 136 and a Fabia. My Fabia came from your neck of the woods, Barmoor Garage, near Newcastle. Don't think they are a Skoda dealer anymore.
They haven't been a Skoda garage for years now, Barmoor is actually in Ryton, part of Gateshead on the south side of the river.

The Skoda dealers up here are owned by 2 garage groups now, their are 3/4 franchises in the area.

1978 Triumph Dolomite in British racing green. They don't make them like that any more.

That pointless button was in my Panda too! My Panda was possessed! In the middle of the night it would blare out music for hours! And after one rainy night, I got into it, pressed down on the break and clutch and water gushed out into the footwell and all over my feet!

That's not a parody - it's an actual advert from the late 1990s.
That advert x30000.

I'm dead. Cause of death: 90s Fiat advert

That was just the optional extra FIAT foot-wash facility
