I keep them sweet by offering them a drink and get wonderful package drop offs in return.

Or I go to put stuff in the recycling bin and I'm like "oh sh*t, there's my new thor hammer".
I wonder if the ones who do this have some social anxiety (aswell as being pressured for time)!

^ I know I'd prefer to leave a parcel in a recycling box and run than knock on someone's door!

I really do think the pressured for time thing is the biggest factor. Again, I don't really mind, I know it came across like I was having a moan about it, but it was really just an observation.

When our upstairs neighbour gets parcels they often put them in our recycling box, which causes some confusion. It's got to the point that now my partner just texts the neighbour and he goes and gets the parcel out of the box himself

^^ Time pressure is probably the biggest factor. I know certain company's are really harsh on those that don't meet the requirements. It was fairly common that i'd find Amazon parcels left on doorsteps when i was a courier. I'd knock the door and hand them the one i had and the Amazon parcel and they'd be like, 'oh, they can't have knocked, i've been in the whole time..'. Also, being the fantastic person that i am, if they were out i'd safe place it with my own or take it to a neighbour (i mean, why not). Interestingly, the one's who were in (when the parcel had been doorstepped) didn't seem too fussed and we would often sympathise and talk of the time pressures, etc. Then they'd go online and bitch about it...

Being given a pot the size of a test tube to wee into. You'd think by now my aim would be getting better but it just seems to be getting worse.

^ Yes! They really do! Or a funnel of some kind. I wish everywhere stocked a fanny friendly option.

At the moment I have to go for a sort of scattergun approach, where wee gets everywhere including on my hand and the label, in the hope that at least some makes its way inside the pot.

^ I don't even know what to say on the phone to check. I would feel so bad if they have to look through a book to find it. It can only be one of two possible Saturdays though, so hopefully it's not too much of a pain!

Strange sleep time events. Last night I had a dream that I was giving birth to twins whilst also having a routine dental examination.

The other night I'm not sure what I was dreaming, but there was a bright light shining through some doors. I woke up on my feet and I was opening the curtains. Good job I woke up at that moment and hadn't tried to go out the window !

*note to self: buy a trampoline*

Stupid news articles where body language experts try to decipher how members of the royal family were feeling at the queen's funeral, who was holding back tears, who was struggling to keep it together etc

Surely it doesn't require a great amount of expertise to work out they were feeling sad?
And why shouldn't they be allowed to display emotions at a funeral of their mother or grandmother.

It must feel like living in a goldfish bowl.

^^ I love it when body language experts try to claim both that "body language never lies" and "here's how to change your body language to blah blah blah"

Jesus ****ing Christ, why did i change phones.... What's this bs health app on Apple? I'm trying to set an alarm via clock and you can't because it's 'now done through the health app' (okay...). You go through that and it's trying to dictate my ****ing life, lol. 'Nooo, i just want a simple ****ing alarm. I don't want to be told when to eat, sleep, take a shit'.

I've never had an Apple anything, apart from old MP3 players. I only got it because it was a good deal and it was a 'small' phone.

Honestly, who on earth thought this was a good idea. 'We'll do away with the easy way to set an alarm and force them to jump hurdles setting up a health/sleep routine and also educate them on the benefits of sleep to boot'.

Do i really have to download a dedicated sleep alarm? O_o Is this what people do to get around it? Another thing, the alarm tones are shite and don't seem loud enough.........
